5th Earth,

I followed your link to page 73, and there was no page image. This message was displayed:

" image file deleted by intruder along with United States Supreme Court and Florida Supreme Court election related files. "

Did you see that when you visited it? I think this is brand new. I've never seen that any files had been deleted by an 'intruder'.

If you go the "Privacy Statement" link on the bottom of the main page, there is a page with a bunch of links, but none having to do with the 2000 election. The Election 2004 link goes to a page with an essay and some links, but none to court cases or anything to do with the 2000 election.

There is a book referenced on this page, called The Search for the Manchurian Candidate by John Marks.

Also, the front page of Robinette's site seems different to me. For instance, there is a link at the bottom to ECTACO translators. This is the company's site from doing a google search. This is the site Robinette links to. Plus there is a green dot and a gray dot at the bottom of Robinette's front page. The green one links to a page with a picture of kites. The gray one makes a pop-up window that simply says "Sunday morning". Very peculiar.

It was like that when I got there. The missing picture was why I thought that page should be brought up--it's odd.

I've tried 864-355-9770 and 864-Eldorado and both numbers are non-working / disconnected.

There doesn't seem to be much interest in this game... if it is a game... is there another board with more info anywhere?

The cell number she gives is El Dorado 59970 not 59770.

Well, it's like an old-style number, back when instead of area codes there were area names. If that's the case then we definitely can't use it anymore--phones just don't work that way anymore, and the entire country has been renumbered since then.

IIRC, when they transitioned to from the old to the new style numbers, they just translated the region code into the first three numbers. For example, in one old Honeymooners episode, Alice gets a phone with the number "Bensenhurst-07741" which would now be "230-7741" (2=b, 3=e).

According to http://ourwebhome.com/TENP/TENproject.html the exchanges for El Dorado can either be:

BR for Bridge, IL (27)
BR for Broadway, Oh (27)
DA for Davis, KS (32)
UN for Union, AR (86)
UP for Upton, MO (87)
