EMAIL: Response to Nihilisia from Ewan

I sent an email to Ewan's email address and got a response:

From: "Ewan McGregor" <pompous_psycho>
To: nihilisiaSPLATyahoo.com
Subject: Re: hey You in there
Date: Mon, 21 Apr 2003 20:51:56 +0000

How, by chance, did you find me? Do I know you? Forgive me if I do,
and I
have simply forgotten. I realized yesterday that I can't for the life
of me
recall the names of most of the people that I went to school with. I
remember shapes and behaviors and..... stereotypes. Archetypes, even.
I
remember there were a few nice chubby girls over the years, while the
all-star jocks were pretty much the same people from elementary school
onward -- I think. Geeks and prom queens and people with funny noses
and
funny voices, sexy noses and sexy voices and everything in-between, a
guy
who always wore shorts even in the coldest winter and a guy who was
always
wearing a top hat I think. Brady? Ethan? Evan? I think there was an
"Evan" at one point, and believe it or not I'm relatively sure I had a
classmate in middle school named "Michael Jordan", only he wasn't
*that*
Michael Jordan, he was white and not particularly athletic... but still
somehow popular. I think. Looking back it seems as though my school
years
were a continually-running play in which different actors rotated in
and out
of the roles through the years, recycling the same plots every few
years --
if that long.

I'm sorry, I'm rambling. How did you say you found me again? Do we
know
each other? Are we acquainted? Were we once intimates?

In answer to your question: I am a bit dirty than I'd like, lately a
bit
colder than I'd like, plagued by a vague sense of foreboding from time
to
time, but having the time of my life.

This card was sent by red queen (undisclosedSPLATthemountain.com) for pest

-----------------------------------------------------------------

There are some differences in the text from the original version.

The original said "To the little people" and this version says "To Pest"
Original said "image" and this version said "imagine"
Original had the word "here" twice, and this version has the word "there".

Ewan hasn't replied to any of my LiveJournal entries, but he did add me as a friend to his LJ, along with a number of other people who were Cloudmakers:
