question. Has anything unusual happened to you since you received it? You know,
strange dreams, weird people hanging around, or anything. Please let me know if
anything like this happens.

I replied with...

I haven't noticed any strange people hanging around, although I was out of
town for the holiday weekend. Don't worry, I brought the item you sent me
with for safe keeping. I didn't feel right leaving it here even though it
is tightly hidden away. I figured that it is safest with me. I have been
having a few strange dreams lately. Well, I always seem to have somewhat
strange dreams, but these had a new unusual clarity to them. My dreams are
usually a hodge-podge of recent events of my life mixed with old memories.
My dreams lately have been more of a narrative story about people I don't
know. I really didn't think about them too much until I read your email.

Don't know if this will yield anything, but maybe a glimpse into some of the dreams Dale has been having?

Anyway, the reason I'm writing.

I received the Oak Men card from that package that was addressed to Meaghan. I really appreciate your trust. The card is in a very safe place, far away from where anyone would find it if they searched my home. However, I'm not liking what's been happening since I received it.

Maybe it's my imagination, or maybe my allergies, but I can't get a good night's sleep. My family tells me that they hear me struggling and shouting out during naps, or sometimes when the house is quiet after we've gone to bed. Usually, sleep is my refuge from a hectic day. Now, it's becoming something that I have a free-floating anxiety about. I'm not at the point of needing medication to get rest, but something's different.

I'm thinking that it has something to do with the card. Perhaps I'm just being a ninny about it, but I wonder if it is more than a piece of paper.

I'm wondering if any of the other "lucky" recipients are giving you this feedback. Or maybe I just need to take some more Benadryl...
