If I were one, I certainly would feel so.

Late response is late, but excuse me, WTF did you just link me to?! Sad

My problem is taking the song too literally, I think.
I'm focusing on the whole murder of the children part. Two girls and a boy are murdered, by poisoning, drowning, and presumably beating, and the father burns the boy's body because he pissed him off by fighting back. We know Slendy's got some kind of fetish for burning people's houses down, and there was the hidden video with one of the guys underwater...
But again, I think we need to go outside the box on it. Maybe.

Also, I dunno if I posted it before, but the "sequel" to The Rake's Song, where the ghosts of the children come back to haunt their daddy:

I'm looking at some of the single line quotes more than poems/songs.

She does explicitly say that "When people make a mistake, they generally try to cover it up. I'm no different," in regards to the strikethrough text. It's not quite what she's wanting to say.

She also posted a single line from the Animal Collective song," Peacebone."

Quote:
I'll bet the monster was happy when they made him a maze
'Cause he don't understand intentions, he just looks at a face
I'll bet the bubbles exploded to tickle the bath
All the birds are very curious, all the fish are at the surface
With half of me waiting for myself to get calm
I'm like a pelican at red tide, I'm a corpse, I'm not a fisherman
And a blowout does not mean I will have a good night
'Cause an obsession with the past is like a dead fly
And just a few things are related to the "old times"
When we did believe in magic and we did die
It's not my words that you should follow, it's your insides
You're just an inside
Adjust your insides
You're just an inside

edit: I'm lietomepsyche on there. When she replied to my first question to her, she said it was always nice to see a "Face." For some reason, I just caught what the capital letter meant. XD

This is what I have so far:

6/1/10, 8:42pm

"Deluge myths are mythical stories of a great flood sent by a deity or deities to destroy
civilization as an act of divine retribution, and are featured in the mythology of many
cultures."

Oh really? Question is which deities.

6/10/10, 1:04am

"IT'S LYRICAL GENIUS."

It's a link to a youtube video of Placebo's Infra-red. From what I've read of the lyrics,
it's a threat. It's as if the person making the threat is telling the other person that they
might as well forget running because they'll get to them either way. Very much like Slendy really.

6/8/10, 5:11pm

"AMID DISQUIETING DREAMS IN THE NIGHT, WHEN DEEP SLEEP FALLS ON MEN, FEAR AND TREMBLING
SEIZED ME AND MADE ALL MY BONES SHAKE"
-Job 13:14 (seems strangely appropriate)"

Nightmares perhaps?

6/8/10, 2:58pm

"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was
not meant that we should voyage far.
H.P. Lovecraft, "The Call of Cthulhu"

I think H.P Lovecraft was trying to say that ignorance is bliss. That it's better to not
stray too far into the unknown as you'll never know what danger lurks there. It's as if Damsel
was trying to tell the guys in her own quirky way to stop looking for Slendy or something along
those lines.

6/6/10, 3:16am

"He'll never find me here,
but I just can't risk it."

More obvious than her other posts.

6/11/10, 2:07pm

"I TRULY KNOW WHAT MR. PARKER MUST HAVE FELT LIKE.
I know that I am currently engaged in the age of the stereotypical teenage angst and I know
damn well we all are going through this emotional shitstorm, but believe me when I tell you,
however, that I am desperately alone in this.

Is there anyone out there who can help? Anyone out there who feels what I feel?"

This post makes her sound like she's in the midst of depression. Once we'd figured out that
she did have something to do with EMH I think it becomes more obvious about what she's saying.
Either that or she's still grieving for her parents.

First, Coheed and Cambria icon: I love you. In a platonic way.

Second: yeah, I was also thinking about that. The kid's part has always been my favorite in The Hazards of Love. Two girls and a boy...Linnie, Jessa if she's dead, and...one of the guys? God, I hope one of them doesn't go. This is why you don't get invested in ARGs! Everyone seems so real!
EDIT: Oh, or Alex. He's already in trouble with Jake the Rake there.

(btw, four songs into my analysis. I'll post it when I'm all done)

I give up on trying to keep up with the uber amount of pages that accumulate whilst I sleep. Anyways, does anyone else think it'd be relevant to find out what the meanings/stories behind the songs on CYSTW tumblr are? It could give us a HUGE clue. A lot of the time people use music as a way to let someone know how they feel because they can't physically talk about it.

As I'm a huge Decemberists fan- The Mariner's Revenge Song. So there's this pimpish 18-year-old (decribed as "a rake(!) and a roustabout" in the song) who seduces a widow with a three-year-old son. He soon ditches her, leaving them all his gambling debts and the mother with consumption. They loose their house and she soon dies, telling the son to find the man and kill him in a very, very gory way. The son, despite his age, takes it to heart; he spends the next fifteen years on the streets, later taken in by a priory to be the janitor of sorts.

Then, when he's eighteen, he hears the prior talking with a whaler, discussing the captain of a leaving ship who matches the pimpish guy's description perfectly. He goes out to sea on the ship, planning the murder. Twenty months later he's about to kill the guy when the ship is swallowed by a whale, and by some "divine intelligence", the captain and the kid are the only survivors, in the belly of the whale. That's the part where the kid narrates the story/sings the song, and it ends with him presumably killing the captain and then getting digested or something.

....Or you could just look at the lyrics and ignore my stupid rambling.

So Damsel was eatin by a whale? OH GAWD!

Okay everyone, here it is! We waited to open it so we could film you a nice unboxing vid.

YouTube: Link

I'm pretty sure now that it's not actually one of the boxes. It's actually a bag and nothing inside says 4/7 or anything like that. I don't know what's up with the Powerade bottle either.

I'll post some better pictures of the letters in a little bit. I know you were all waiting for the unboxing. Very Happy

EDIT: Box (more accurately, bag) on the last page.

Gasp!

Maybe our beloved Vinnie wasn't so normal after all...

Thanks for uploading that Very Happy I'm now dying to know what the letter and the doc's notes say. So Vinnie is now mentioned in them too.....

Maybe Vinnie reacted to his treatment better than Evan?

Oh Vinnie. Sad
This makes me wonder if we're going to find more purple duct tape paths to clues. It was set up like someone was going to go on a hike almost, with the powerade and the bag.

The second you pulled out that Powerade bottle I almost pee'd myself. I recently started drinking that specific Powerade - Mountain Berry Blast - religiously, and I was drinking it when you pulled it out..
Shocked
