What I'm wondering is, for the mask, how do you fasten it so that it's not full of wrinkles; and what about covering your neck?

Having long hair sucks; I think I'm going to have to get a bald cap or something to stuff it under. :X

(I'm looking at instructions on making stilts instead of buying some. O_O expensive purchase is expensive!)

That mask is pretty neat, Kamen! Too bad about the wig. Can you do any last second jobs for anyone to scrape together some dough?

Depends on what you're using if you're using nylon hosery it should be tight enough that it just barely fits over you head therefore no wrinkles when completely but if you're using something else...I dunno
also instead of a bald cap you could use a knit hat/skull cap with your hair under it.

You're probably right -- though I don't have camera distortion to ease out the nubblies that I think a knit cap would make. XD

Really I should just see if there's a way to study the various vlogs who have done a really good Slendy costume; I have a feeling that their owners won't fess up as to how they made theirs (and also I haven't bothered to find the EMH guys' facebooks and even if I did would probably pull a nervous-shy-face... >_>")

Fff ha ha haha, I should find some way to make 'video distortion' and have it held up in front of the costume. XD screen-door laced with bits of coloured plastic~!

I need to have these ideas NOT the day before the day before Halloween. :c

maybe, though I doubt I could find the wig in time. I've looked all over the internet and have found only ONE wig that looks remotely like what I need... its sold out, though. D:

I even found a way to make moving tentacles

HOW? I've been trying desperately to think of a way...

You know those motorized cat tails that costume stores sell around halloween?

Huh, I don't, actually. I'll give them a search.

I just took Slendy for a test run, though. Pre-Halloween party...may upload some pictures later. Very Happy

Oh, do, that'd be really cool!

Still deciding whether I have to resort to sitting down and doing some sewing to better make a mask. I have a feeling that it's going to come down to making a bella clava except with no face-hole. Today and tomorrow are going to be busy!

And, you know, there's nothing wrong with having stilts for later. XD Finally, I shan't be vertically challenged any more!

Not Slendy-related but: Greetings from Baron(ess) Samedi

Edit: That was just the first test, tomorrow it will (hopefully) look much better.

So after tomorrow, should we post some of our success stories or something?

Well that's a no

So Halloween is basically already here and my costume still needs work
the suit jacket still needs sewing work (I can't sew) and my face still shows through the mask a little (you can see my eyes and mouth) the pants are still being lengthened and the tentacles keep falling off.
I'm going to keep playing with this even after tomorrow it's become a pet project at this point.

I didn't have the time or resources, but I fully plan on investing in a slendy suit for the future.

Not that I can pull it off though. I'd have to be Fat Slender Man...which would probably just cause Slendy to come after me Sad

Okay, so this is a thread about how to make a Slender Man costume, and yes, you guessed it, for Halloween. But here's the thing: how do you turn a 5'4" girl with long hair into a 6'+ Slondormonz with a bald and no face?

Stilts, no problem, I have a suit that I'm fairly certain I can lengthen to cover 'em. The face though, I am completely stumped. I've tried ye olde stockings over the face. I've even tried papier mache (oh god that was an experience.) I've kind of put this costume aside because Hallween is coming up so fast and I'm beginning to get discouraged with it all.

Maybe you guys have some suggestions? (One of my friends has pretty much everything she needs to dress up as Masky, and if it's possible to be able to wander around as the Slender Man for Halloween with her I think that would be pretty spiffy!)

You seen the test footage videos me and my friend made. Burlap is what we used.

Slender Man's secret identity.....revealed!

Not a costume, but we did make a Slenderman for a Halloween party.

Hayl-Slendy, you never fail to impress me. AWESOMENESS! 8D

Yeah, no time for Slendy-costume this year. Things just didn't time up right! If I'm still as excited about the Slendy ARG's next year as this, though, I shall definitely give it a go! Very Happy
