Yeah. I don't think so anymore. Not after the strike-through on his entry. She. or someone else, deleted it.

I honestly think that Habit could be a trigger word for the guys but the question is, trigger them to do what? Become mindless drones for slendy? OR it's a trigger word to help them remember the past. They don't seem to remember a lot. That's if they are the same patients in the admission letters.

But that's only valid if they didn't have contact with the word HABIT. But that is hard to believe as a trigger, if it has to be voice activated. Someone must have spoke the word "habit" sometime. But if it is something to be read, well, HABIT is not common.

Justaguest, that part was always striked through IIRC. It's not the first time it's brought up, even.

Am I the only one who saw an odd correlation between this rather dramatic tweet:

Quote:
I don't know who you are. But you cannot intimidate us. Any imprisonment you can bestow upon us -- we'll burn our way out.

and "HABIT SEES YOU. WE ARE UNBREAKABLE"?

Probably.

That's understandable. I was wondering if it's something the doc was using as a trigger for a voice activated thing. Triggers aren't always vocal though. Certain pictures can trigger memories, or words etc. I'm still trying to work out why they're dated back to the 70's and why the doctor refers to his dead colleague.

Another idea from a friend: the man that Vince mentions, when his parents discover the dead Reverend, might not be the Slender Man or the Rake, or even HABIT, but yet another creepypasta reference.

I feel like thats one too many monsters. We already have Slendy, plus the Rake, plus Habit (who may or may not be the rake). Unless they're trying to reference as many monsters as possible in one series, (which would be a bit ridiculous) I feel like there's no reason for the Man to not be Slendy, especially because the Smiling Man sounds really similar to Slendy anyway.

I have no reason to believe "Man" is not SM. Sometimes "insanely convoluted" is not "more."

Burn. An interesting choice of phrasing there, "burn". Odd that Jeff would choose it.

Did we ever find out what caused that school fire?

Jeff doesn't seem like a Pyromaniac, Rogue Wolf. Pyromaniacs aren't stupid enough to get caught in their own work, so to speak.

I just think who or whatever's sending the "secret" tweets is using one or several of the guys to do it. The choice of words seems too similar and I think it's another sign of some sinister influence.

There's also the chance that it happened accidentally.

I'm just sayin'.

wondered that for quite some time myself, but....there's nothing really to back that up yet; plus the damsel house-fire and re-occuring fire/ash theme doesn't suggest it is or was exclusive to him.

Well, he would have been an amateur at the time. Beginners make mistakes. Smile

But no, at this point it seems most reasonable to assume that the fire was either incidental to the story or was part of the traditional Slendy shenanigans.

The tweets being authored by a Hybrid Under the Influence is a strong possibility, but I don't think that textual similarities is good evidence either for or against. They are, after all, being IRL written by the same guys who write everything else. It could just be the author's style seeping through.

But on the subject of their written materials, does anybody else think the medical records seem to be of...let's say a lesser quality than the performed dialog in the videos? It sometimes kind of feels, in the written materials, that they're going for gravitas but ending up slightly over the border into camp territory.

I have an interesting theory. Personally, I am a fan of the speculation about the 'ark', a place where time stops, a parallel universe in which Slendy resides. It reminds me of the limbo zone from Harry Potter, the train station from The Matrix: Reloaded, etc.
Now, let's take into account the recent references to Evan and Vince as patients of Corinthal (or what have you), perhaps this could mean that Lady Gaga has a massive penis?
