As mentioned before by someone, Slendy's probably really possessive and Jessa was getting all up on his property (Jeff). Shocked

The below images show her, I think. The legs and arms can be flipped, not sure which is which.

I dunno, don't they walk past a rather large, human shaped bag on the way to the clearing?

True. And I suppose it would be easier to hang her by her feet or head or hands or something.

When I saw the bag in the pictures above, I immediately thought "DEAD BODY OMG" but I'm probably wrong, considering the body shaped one was farther away from the bags. So I don't know any more. Embarassed

lol aw I feel horrible now lol. I always thought that the big bag they walked past could be Jessa and those smaller bags in the clearing were the dead animals Vinnie mentioned........or they could be guts.....or other people.......or just bags of fermented dog crap....who knows. lol.

Assuming that the silhouette in Magus' video is actually Jessa, then I don't think she could have been in any of the bags. That video is clearly set way after her disappearance, and during Joke's Over I don't believe anyone was aware she was gone yet.

I forgot about Jessa in Magus' video. Are we definitely sure it's Jessa though? For all we know Evan's shoved a wig on and gone all buffalo bill on us.

Definitely based on what?

The letters just say "town of ash" right? And the only other bit is the Ashland stuff from Candle Cove, right?

Ok "definitely" was a poor choice of words. But I'd say "really, really likely" at least Wink Basically what this guy said:

The Vince paperwork mentions that he is from a mining town, and the doctor calls it a "town of ash."

Centralia is a mining town that has been on fire for 50 years. There is a coal vein underneath the town that has been deemed impossible to extinguish so they've just left it to burn. If that's not a "town of ash," or a "Land of Ashen Waste" then I don't know what is.

There is a literal land of ashen waste a few miles from where the last package was found. It's an abandoned mining town. Evan and Vince (the version in the letters anyway) are from a mining town that is now abandoned. It's not like I'm making an epic leap of faith here.

Yeah, the Centralia connection is a theory that actually makes a large amount of sense, so much so that I would hesitate to call it a "theory" at this point. Compared to some of the other things we've been theorizing, Centralia may as well be canon.

No no no. All of those bags are small. That bag you are referring to in the picture isn't big enough to hold a body.

There are multiple bags though. There is a possibility they are multiple body parts in diff bags, but not one of them is big enough to be a whole person. Watch it again, the bag you are referring to is the same size as the one Vince opens, and they're on the same branch (they both move when Vince starts messing with it.)

I operated under the assumption it was Jessa for a long time, until Magus video. But even before Magus video, there were problems with the notion that the bags contained Jessa.

A) Didn't the guys open them to see what was inside? Wouldn't they have noted human body parts?
B) What did the guys do with the bags at all? Leave them up? Contact the authorities?
C) Had the bags contained human remains, wouldn't the cops have questioned them about that or placed them under suspicion? Wouldn't the remains have been identified had they been Jessa?

And for a moment lets say it was Jessa in the bags. That would mean that Magus video is the first instance of seeing a ghost. I sorta don't think that is what happened.

Someone had posted a theory that the 'man' form vince's papers was the smiling man in black, if that's true, maybe he/it is possible for the disappearance of the body in 'cops checked, no body' as the creepypasta states, there was no sign of the grandmothers body. While I can't think of anythikng linnie might have done that was terrible enough to warrant that, i guess anything is possible.

Am I evil for wanting Jessa to be dead? I think it would add more to Jeff's crazy. But I dont know I'm just a bitch, and in the magus video the person looks nothing like Jessa (not that you can see very well) but [the person] looks way to skinny to be Jessa.

Was wondering about that also. We seem to be seeing some parallels between Evan/Vinne and Jeff/Damsel in their childhoods. Also bothering me is that in the cipher, the last line, habits is pluralized. So besides pushing the guys to Centralia, I feel like another loose end is the Corenthal connection to Jessie mentioned in Cops Checked at around the 5 min mark. Also, Fairmount Children's Home has not yet had a visit from our EMH crew. Just read an entry from PennyArcade forums where they point out that the hidden videos also have morse in the page titles that doesn't match the video entries.

The page titles don't have a different set of symbols than the video titles; it's just that youtube adds a dash before the video title. So instead of looking like ... it looks like -..., instead of .-, -.-, etc.

Start listening for this Harvey Danger song in a video so that we can have confirmation. Very Happy

I was thinking more of the bag they run past at 2.19. The rather large bag that's roughly the same size as a person. The smaller bags are all in the clearing where they find Evan.

It could be Jessa in those bags regardless of the Magus video. I don't think the Jessa in that video is Jessa anymore in the strictest sense - could well be a ghost.

Yeah, I noted it's size too when I first saw it, but it is also possible that it's just a lower hanging one, or size is misrepresented by how fast the camera moves by it.

Now, Damsel burning down her house, and Jeff maybe having burned down his school is an interesting notion. If you mix in the past-Evan killing a nurse, and past-Vince being involved in the Reverends murder (either by doing it, or causing a monster to) then we see a pattern emerge about the characters. But still, the time difference between the two is odd.
