But we've seen both the Rake and Slenderman already. Unless your implying that what we've seen in the Cops Checked No Body and in the other videos are the same Slendy thing in different forms.

I just see no reason for it not to be Slendy and the Rake. As I said, what does the Smiling Man do that Slendy doesn't? Because Slendy does disembowel people in the original mythos. Plus we've already seen, Slenderman doesn't have a face, neither does the Rake seem to have one.

 		Guys, I think we're supposed to unlock something through interacting with Jessie, Dr. Corenthal's niece. She's been favoriting highly suggestive videos on her above-linked Youtube channel, the most recent being an 8-bit remix of a song called "Through the Fire and Flames".

I've left comments on her channel in the past, and she's been very good about responding, but I can't think of anything to ask her and I suck at making "friends" and becoming a conduit for information. We need another Didz. Smile

Not meaning to put down your theory or anything, I'm sure there's validity to it, but Through the Fire and the Flames is from Dragonforce, a speed metal group. I'm a huge fan of their music, and as far as I can tell, there's absolutely nothing in their music that can really connect to the Slender Man mythos. Some of her earlier favorited videos might work though, particularly the Pedobear video.

I get ya on that. I'm no musical connoisseur or anything, and most of the songs that have factored into this series weren't my sort of thing, so I didn't spend much time listening. But to my understanding, there was always some meaning found in the lyrics and the tone, as well as the title. In this case though, I think it's just that she found it to be a damned good remix of a damned good song- ask anyone who's played Guitar Hero 2. I'm not saying you don't have a point, just that the 'fire' theme for Through the Fire and the Flames doesn't acclimate here, while there's thousands of other songs with 'fire' themes that could work better.

Don't EVEN get me started. Hopefully something will come of this for the Boys, as I am less than happy at this developement. (although it still was rather interesting and shocking, had I not favored Damsel's character more than the boys as I do I would have been enjoying this developement as yoo all have enjoyed even the worst news from the boys)

Do you guys think Slender Man himself is personally responsible for putting these fleshy bits in the bags, or does he drive people to do horrible acts of murder and butchery?

Because I need some sort of excuse for my trial tomorrow.
I can't picture Slender Man, in his suit, no face, actually gutting people then getting some garbage bags, bagging the leftovers like they're tomorrow's lunch, then hanging them in trees to keep away from dogs. I mean, try to actually picture him stuffing guts into bags. It don't sit right.

Personal opinion.

What sounds a lot more likely is that she just doesn't remember killing her parents. Or maybe, she was crazy all along and using Slendy as an excuse? Or went crazy from Slendy...I mean, people believe their own lies if they tell it to themselves enough right?
