is it just too expensive to produce product with EL strip/sheet incorporated into them with a small button cell processor?

the black hats look like they came from the demolition man set or something. were they designed by R. Kelly? cause if i wore one i'd be thuggin' it out.

i held off on my comments after seeing a few less quality photos from the EOL club. i feel that these show enough detail for me to say - no thanks.

hopefully adidas will do the shoes right and make the EL light up factor a reality.
personally, i could really see costumes with decent quality EL setups being production sold in the $100 zone next halloween. are americans too fat to handle the costumes?

the hats are ugly. if i wanted a reflective item - i'd purchase fome pearlizumi or whatever tour de france bike wear/runner's store stuff.
