mykie did you get those, or did Countzero get those?

BTW, they have filled up all the spikes already before most of our axons time even came up. So we haven't been assigned any of the single axons for recipe3 and we don't have any confirmed crew members in recipe1. How disappointing. I think we're kicking ass here.. it'd be great for them to toss us a bone.

Heh, yeah. I drove out to Stanwood for lunch on the off chance I could snag a rank. No dice though.

Wynn, I want one of them to come up to me this afternoon and hand me a bone for Jimi.

the 15:29 one is hot, but I didn't get it. There were three other people there this time (boy, was I surprised), and since they had never gotten an axon before, I let them do it. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone said CONTINUE (he didn't know to say repeat), so I have no idea what the actual WAV was about; hopefully it will get unlocked tomorrow.

They were also going to get the 15:57 in front of sharper image, but it looks like they didn't. I'll get it tomorrow. Could be that the phone was in use--it's on a popular corner, and I see it in use pretty often when I walk by during the day. I'm hoping they didn't get a live Melissa and mess it up ... I'd have to start kicking myself, which is hard. And it hurts.

I've been crediting anyone who was at the location at the time with getting the axon. So you're on my list along with "others" since we dont have names.

Heavy sigh. Again with the no voice recognition. That's the fourth time. Sorry, guys.

No Melissa or bones at my very own axon.

Although a couple of minutes before the phone rang, an armored car rolled up. They seemed to be very watchful with me hanging around the phone. I wasn't even wearing a ski mask.

GREAT job today, Team Seattle! We got more axons on day 1 than ever before! Did anyone talk to a live Melissa?

I'm extremely disappointed that my regular phone for some reason did not ring at all this time. I got there extra early just to make sure I'd be the one to answer it (just in case, you know).. and after all that waiting, a big goose egg. Sad

I got all three of mine just like clockwork. Nothing unusual.

Hey, great job everyone. My girlfriend and I got the first three on my list.
On the way to the fourth, I saw a group of guys running down the road
as we drove past. I said that they were probably trying to get to the phone
but was only kidding.
Sure enough they showed up. They had gotten a live call earlier in the
day but I didn't think to ask them where it was.

They did say however that Melissa had asked them to describe their
surroundings, which they did. Then, and get this, she said that there
was a fountain near them and wanted to know if it was on or off.
She said "Think carefully about it". They did. Looking around they saw
a fountain which was on and said so.

This shows a remarkable knowledge of the area they were calling and
totally blows away the "random" idea floating around.

Was anyone here supposed to grab an axon that is near a fountain?

We each did two.

Then I had to run off before my illegally parked company car got towed/ticketed. Smile

The 4th & Pike one (now archived) is across from Westlake Plaza, which has that water sculpture thing you can walk through. Don't know if I'd call it a fountain, but I guess it is a big stone thing that spits out water, so maybe.

Was it three young kids? (Well, young to me--maybe 20-ish or so?) Like I said up above somewhere, I saw them at the 1st & Madison axon and sent them on to 4th & Pike, which didn't go hot.

[Edit: The 4th & Pike axon was just before 4 PM--did you see them after that?]

Are there any live axons left in Seattle anymore?

That one went hot. Did you mean it's active in that it is not archived yet?

Since crates_and_a_dolly at 15:23 is still cold, I am going to make my way out there today and try to enhottenate it.

That is, of course, if Tien_Le doesn't want to go out and try it again.

My boss is out of town today, so I should be able to get away with it. Smile
