The only reason I consider that within the realm of possibility is disney having been backing this and Disney has DEEP pockets.

Actually, 89 Forever logo keychains. Nice metal ones. Attached is a key with a chance to get one that fits one of 4 real Ducati Monster bikes. Snag is you have to get to one of those 4 locations opening night.

Or something.

That'll work fantastically until someone notices the bike in a parking lot, and remembers "hey, I have a key for that!" and runs off with it. That bike would be changing hands at an absurd rate Wink

You misunderstand. Only one key each would actually fit in the 4 Ducatis. I guess you've never seen one of the promotions like this where keys are sent out. Only one per vehicle to be won is patterned correctly.

If anyone would like to hire me to work on their ARGs or promotions, PM me.
This means you, 42E.
Very Happy

I wish they'd already sent whatever this is gonna be out. Headed down to Fla tomorrow to see family. I'll still be watching of course to see if anything new happens.

Hah, I thought I had gotten something today from them when I got a call from my apartment's office letting me know I had a package.... I was so excited, then it was just something from a family member, lol

Once again...

nothing...

There is a strange reason for this, not that I am griping about waiting to get something that is free.

But it didn't even take this long for my i.d. badge.

Total speculation

But I think there's an obvious factor that may explain all these delays...and I hope I'm not just being optimistic.

Now, if they're planning something huge for endgame here, this puzzle may start that in motion. If that is in fact the case, they'd want to get as many people through the ArcadeAidV2 as possible, and then send out whatever is the result to everyone at once.

The long wait combined with the request for accurate addresses leads me to believe this. The request for accurate addresses could then have been done because they know they get one shot at this. There's no time for people to ask for their package to be resent.

We may have a bit of a wait, but as we're closing in on a month before release, we know it won't be too long.

Just my $0.02.

I've wondered if the delay is down to how long it takes to deliver to overseas addresses i.e.

Maybe they want us all to receive it at the same time for some reason - when the postcards went out, it took about 10 days for them to get over here (the UK), while the US was receiving them around 2-3 days later.

On top of that, perhaps this time they've wanted to allow time for the majority of players to finish up the game before the next stage, so they've held off sending anything out to anyone for let's say a week (guesswork, totally). So then they stagger the deliveries in order for players worldwide to get it around the same time.

That's one idea anyway.

There could also be another reason we've not seen anything yet, the puzzle/task might not be completed because we haven't found something or the second part hasn't been released yet.

I'm hoping for more endgame clues. So far they've given badges & cards & pins & tokens & shirts & wallets & posters & a working version of space paranoids. (that I played in a full size arcade cabinet @ElecTRONica) I'm pretty happy, and anything else is just gravy

I'll repeat a piece of advice from earlier - be sure the name you use in your mailing information is your REAL name. Your Flynn Lives screen name can of course be anything you want, but if you don't use a real name some postal employees get rather anal about delivery.

They seem to have no issues delivering to 'responsible driver' or 'concerned voter' or whatever other BS personages that don't live here.

FWIW, I've received several things addressed to "Shad Ow," including my Encom badge, the recognizer package, and Sam's 89 forever package. No postcards, though...

My mailman every now and then refers to me as "Nighthawk".

But, yes, I agree with the above statement. Very Happy

This is what I am thinking. The Flynn Lives website did say "Have you scoured the streets for every clue?"
There must be something else there.
