Frankly, my money's also on it being a person/creature with a split personality disorder. Going to make some potentially huge leaps here, but... if Jeff's house = Ark, then I think it could be deduced that Habit is whatever is inHABITING Jeff's house, which a lot of us assume to be the Rake, which would mean Habit = Rake-thing, which would mean Habit is the one with the personality disorder... which means he could be the one killing people as well as the one leaving clues, and since he has all of Corenthal's papers... he could be Corenthal! ARGHBLARGH (sorry these are just all of the connections my brain made after reading the Tweets and I usually keep all of my crazier theories private)
