Chat clues Chat and craig's list sale In the communication between Mr.X and Josh Mr. X askes Josh to look at the items again, so i went and looked at the craigs list posts and did a little looking.
i found a similar horse clock i think its made by the same company becuase of the numbers on the clock face, they look the same.

also the Cookie jar:http://www.bonanza.com/booths/mojo3035/items/SAGUARO_CACTUS_COOKIE_JAR_PINK_FLOWER_TREASURE_CRAFT__USED_
the sites are NOT game related i just thought knowing a little more about what were looking at might help.

JayOhio;
I appreciate your observations, but it may be a bit of a stretch to infer that the clocks are made by the same maker based upon the the style of the numerals--they are similar for the most part, but the 10 and 2 are distinctly different.
As far as the cookie jar, my roomie has the same style cookie jar, and it does have "TREASURE CRAFT" and the only relevance with any of this that I see is that imprinted on the cactus randomly are what are supposed to be spines, and these spines could, in some way be construed as "stars," but other than that, I see nothing. However, if I was going to hide something of importance in the craigslist items important items could be hid within the bottom inside of the ceramic items (with appropriately colored putty placed over the item(s)), microfilm could be hid within the hems of the dress, the inside of the clock, and/or the holes where bolts/screws are fastened on the sled. Just my thoughts...

Binary? Hey guys, this is something that might help us out; you know how Mysterio was almost cryptic about his chat posts, like he waited for josh to leave a specific nimber of lines of text before he posted for himself, and when he did post, they were as if he prepared his statements before hand? Well I thought that these could become binary or possibly morse. For example; 0101100010111010 (josh being 0, mysterio being 1) or -.-..---.-...-.-
just a speculation :s

lol just re-reading the chat session....
reading the first few lines... I now read it as Mysterio is the Alien.. try it...
I'm "here" to help you find your father
like he's specially come here from far away to help him and that is his only purpose, to help Josh.
the alien is controlling the computer with his mind.
but does he have a hidden agenda.. does he have josh's father already on their planet and he just wants the evidnece to prevent his race from being discoverd... is the cyilinder some alien artifact...
I deffo think mysterio is asking us to look again at the items. can we find anything else in the orrigional pic we had of the room with hat in etc ... i am going to look now.
EDIT: just going back to the pic in the STIES print out.. noticed this, didn't motice it before. When I copy the pic it seems to be split into two parts.. see here pic from sties - not great quality but you can see the split clearly, like it's two pics pasted together rather than one.
Your thoughts?

Slowness... Maybe we're too smart for the ARG gurus who are running this site. Maybe we're just finding the answers too fast. Or, we haven't found all of the clues and they are waiting on us to figure it out..... I cannot seem to figure it out.
I'm still stuck on Josh's last post. Why capitalize Red Oscar/ Nelson/ LIFE IS SHORT ? I've tried anagrams, numerical values. I was thinking that the Bobbit Worm reference was to the word Anaconda. I'm stumpped. If there's a value there, i jsut don't see it right now.

I still don't think josh would intentionally post anything cryptic in his blog, he is the innocent here.
I think we are missing something from the sties printout and the new chat session.

"solved" as the "goldenratio" (stated in the summary) is bullsh*t

The chat is indicating that there is something still out there that hasn't been found/noticed yet. I don't think the point of the chat was to point out that we're misunderstanding some clue we've already identified.

Clues I'm not indicating that we missed anything. I'm simply suggesting that perhaps we are wrong about a solved clue. I'm thinking that perhaps we didn't really solve the clue. I'm with Gramma, I'm having second thoughts about the golden rule resolution.
If it's a Fiobonacci clue then the 8 tone would equal 55. If we include the final noise as a 9th tone then it would be 89. But still, it doesn't make sense. It's not enough tones for a phone number. They do not seem to have a musical value. The tones make me think of a door or security keypad being punched with the final tone being the door opening. It also sounds like someone speaking through the pick-ups on their electric guitar.
Has anyone tried doing a voice analysis on the tones to see if they could screen out a voice or vocal?

Yes and no respectively. Before you ask it's not DTMF either.

just wathing first encounter and later on et with my little daughter
