Anyway, about the necklace, I thought the hand was supposed to be a symbol of protection. I'd assume that poor Jeff's lamenting on the fact that he couldn't protect Jessa, whom he loves. It's rather sad.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but during the flash to the footage of Jeff opening one of the bags and Evan laughing, does it sound like Jessa's there? Or a girl, at least?

I think the "flashback" clips must be really significant, we just need to know more before we can piece together what they mean.

Late to the party as usual... I guess everything I could think of has been said already, but I just had two comments:

1. I am going to remain convinced that the "Candle Cove" thing was an Easter Egg until we hear otherwise.

2. I am getting the strong impression that Evan is so nuts about killing the thing because Mr. Tall has been whispering sweet murderous nothings into his ear. Everything about Evan screams dangerously unstable to me (and kind of has from the very beginning).

I'm pretty certain Jessa was the only gal with them in a Day in the Life, and you can definitely hear her when they open up the gore bag. Something seriously bizarre and meaningful went down that day, which we never got to see...

Come to think of it, with everyone analyzing the hell out of song lyrics... I wonder if "A Day in the Life" (which is also the title of a song by the Beatles for you whippersnappers who don't know) has any musical significance...
