no, see thats how the video shows it. ive read alot of slendy storied, ones without videos and in almost all of them, the person who was killed by slendy said they could hear a strange humming sound before they saw him. When theres video, that humming becomes static in the video file.

 		Okay, here is an idea, epileptic or not. Smile

Alex has all of these scratches on his arms. If he goes to any doctor to get stitch or treatment, or whatever, they will send him to the psych ward as he will be considered a threat to himself. With an outside view, it sure looks like he has been cutting himself. Anyways, maybe this is how we will find Damsel?

And about dramatic psychwardy-ness, I went to the doctors to see why my knee was acting up. First, they checked between my fingers and toes for track marks, secondly, the saw little scratches on my ankle from my knew cat and sent me to the psych ward. A 10 minute talk with them and it was obvious I wasn't crazy or scratching my self, so they let me go, but in Alex's case, I'm not so sure...

Thing is, little details like that are almost never consistent between the side-stories going on at any given time. EverymanHYBRID probably has its own take on the Slender mythos, which so far hasn't seemed to include Slendy signs audible by the cast.

 		I really don't think that'd happen. None of those look particularly self inflicted since knives, razors, etc. all tend to leave fairly clean edges by design while his are rather ragged and very animal-ish due the parallel formation. Also there's a big difference between a psych ward in a hospital and an actual mental care facility. Damsel had a history of issues that would raise eyebrows whereas as far as we know Alex is pretty normal and just has the bad luck of being the crossfire.

 		Cat scratches aren't clean and smooth either, but I have had my share of shitty doctors. Just thought I would throw it out there.

Also, if Slenderman gave off a hum to ears when near, why didn;t they here him in, what was it, reunion, when he was walking/standing right next to them and they didnt know it.

 		I don't recall reading anything about Slendy creating an audible humming noise. They did seem to notice him in Joke's Over before Jeff pointed him out, though. Maybe they heard the sirens.

 		Watching the hidden videos. In .- was it discussed what/who the figure at 1:29ish is? It looks like someone with a Slendy mask on, but it looks like it's taking place at Corenthal's house. It can't be Slendy himself either.

I've taken it upon myself to rewatch all the EMH videos today.
It's not like I have college applications to do

 		The channel comments has Alex attributing the earlier scratches to his dog becoming more and more aggressive in his nighttime freakouts. Regardless of how insane he thinks the HYBRID's are he is gonna get dragged into this one way or another. That is, if his denial doesn't kill him first. So much for just being stuck in the crossfire.

I'd have to go dredging through old old oooold Slendy stuff to find anything alluding to him giving off noise due to proximity but it is definitely possible not remember some of his early but rarely mentioned traits.

well, what ive also gatherd from the many stories is this. You only see slenderman if he WANTS you to. If he doesnt, he keeps hidden. such as in marble hornets, when they were in the car. the two guys were talking, and slendy cleverly placed himself so that only the camera man saw him.

know what i mean?

If you mean the dude kind of walking by unassumingly, well, it's the same scene that appears in Congratulations, Magus IIRC.

I think it's supposed to be the true Slenderman and you might have caught a bit of special effects fail, lol - kind of like the blood in Joke's Over isn't really blood-ish. They've gotten better however, the cuts on Alex are impressive. And scary.

But I might be wrong, and if that's the case then it's their friend - Daniel?, I think - impersonating the Slenderman - most probably a behind-the-scenes of one of the earlier videos.

Also, Alex, there's a different between "denial" and "downright insanity" - there's no way a small dog like Sparky can do that, and even if he still thinks it was the dog, it has been sleeping outside lately, isn't it? Thought, judging by his panicked breathing, he knows all of this very well.

Seriously, he's breaking my heart. I was expecting some sort of crazy backstory from Damsel, and by now I'm used to see Jeff all sad and broody, Evan going batshit and Vince in denial, but Alex's started as this cute little side thing with no angst, almost a breather, and then in the span of three videos it went fucking downhill.

Jeff should worry about Jessa a bit less and about his brother a bit more. Especially considering I'm under the impression Alex himself is downplaying his situation a bit around him - as a way to cope and also because he doesn't want to worry the big brother. Or maybe I'm just projective - I feel always so protective towards little brother characters.

I'm almost positive it's not the same scene from Congrats, Magus. And it looks to be from Corenthal's house, so I don't think it's Daniel either.
It could be a Slendy fail, but it'd be a pretty bad one. I dunno.

 		So the twitpic of Jeff with the Hand necklace thing a few days ago inspired me to go and watch all the ustreams. Aside from making what's happening to them seem so much more heartbreaking with the additional character development, you can take note of Jeff briefly showing off his "new" shirt in the 7/24 ustream, which happens to be the same shirt from some of the clips in Centralia, ones that seem similar to a day in the life, but don't seem to fit into the "story" of that day. Also note that Jessa's outfit/hairstyle is different in the Centralia clips.

It seems like they all went hiking on at least two occasions - once in A Day in the life in Early June, and once around the end of July - right before Jokes Over and Jessa's Disappearance/ Jeff's Road trip. After all, the EMH's next video was supposed to be hiking tips.

I think people have already speculated about the clips not being from the same day, even though they have similar lighting and are spliced with older clips, so sorry if I'm just bringing up old theories.

 		To me it looks like the same scene (at about 0:27 in Congrats), slightly zoomed in. But, like I've been complaining for a while, my laptop broke and I can't capture screens on this one. Still they're pretty similar.
