Drawing challenge

Given time enough, I'm game--I'll try my hand for a drawing challenge...

Now be fair, everyone has an equal chance of winning; Dray will not automatically win...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
but she'll earn the win anyway...

But Miss D, Mops...JKatkina... though I'm outclassed here. . .
let's have at it!

Egyptian marble Hornets.

Uh, yeah. The best type, for sure.

Cool story, sir.

hahahaha Egyptian marble.

I've felt like doing a serious MH fanart for a while, so I'd be up for a drawing contest :]

Dav, awesome playlist! So sorry about the not-getting-back-to-you about that animation: life got all up ons and when I PM'd the MH crew, they sounded hesitant about the thought of any sort of tampering so I was dissuaded.

I'm impatient too, though not so much in the imminently posting, excited fashion as in the tired but certain that there's no chance of 'em posting for another two weeks. Sort of like when you're in the middle of a work shift and know there's x amount of hours left, though there's nothing you can do to speed it up! XD

Once we get closer to the 23rd, I think I'll be more on the edge of my seat.

In the meantime, maybe we can brainstorm some kind of contest or challenge or something to fill the upcoming couple of weeks? I wouldn't mind a drawing challenge or a trivia contest or something!

I hope they start posting more pictures during the long breaks in between entries. They tell us more than text updates, and they're more exciting as well.

I like the pictures as updates as well; they fit with TTA's ambiguous theme and play into the fact that TTA don't text -- er, tweet, in this case. I don't think that they'd make as much sense for Jay, but I think that when we get ahold of Jay (if TTA isn't going to be our kindly narrator and catch-up-explainer for the last six months) having the contrast between images and text will be a nice revelation. "Woah, not a picture... JAY'S BACK!!!1"

I am looking forward to biting my nails over Jay's health again. XD That was really amusing.

Hahaha don't worry about it, I ended up being plenty busy. It'll get done eventually.

I definitely agree about the contest--I wouldn't partake in a drawing contest (I suck at drawing!) but contests are an excellent idea.

Maybe not so much a contest as a drive to get people excited and back into the story (while also giving us something to do while we wait!) I don't know what kind of prizes there would be to give out, in any case... and people are already involved up to their necks in (for example) other slender blogs and that keeps them in the game and interacting!

Maybe for a drawing challenge, we can brew up something to help underscore the way that this season, even before starting, is showing a change in the tone of the story. Rather, I think that it's carrying over the creepy last few episodes from last season!

Scary TTA or Masky images, plz! (In part because I am bored of lulzy, cute, chibified Masky that has been making the rounds of fandom. Let's bring that back to the terror that we got to experience while watching entries for the first time!)

Obviously, scary Slender Man images would be awesome, too. How about images where Slendy/the Operator is actually doing something other than standing around? It's weird that those are in the tiny minority!

If there's another way to think of getting involved that doesn't involve drawing (and I'm so biased in that direction, so I've got blinders on) go with something else. Some of those music videos were pretty cool, for example! Build a wall full of crazy and snap a photo of it? Maybe we could make a few pages on 8.5x11 paper full of Slender-stalking notes and have them bound together into some kind of creepy book? (Actually... that would be a fun long-term project... >_> Would there be any interest in that?)

Ha ha, I'm out of ideas, but if you have some, feel free to suggest them or get creative and surprise us!

I've been planning to post up a bunch of my Slendy art and make my wall of crazy, so there's that incentive! And the book idea sounds fun!(Even though I don't want your eyes to bleed when you see my art D: )

I actually have an unfinished Marble Hornets artypiece thing.

And I need to get back into slender-drawings. For sure.
Yeah, I'd get involved in a competition. Though Dray will win, I can try my level best.
I've won a slender competition before, I can do it again.
Yeah.
Yeahhhh.

I've had an idea for a creepy nonMasky!TTA fanart forever but I never got around to it. I think it's something I'd be willing to try now that I'm more confident and know more about composition.

Of course, I only have, like, level two artfag skills half a semester into art school.

I can't draw for my life. Unless drawing operator symbols on every single thing I can counts. Like, everywhere. On my papers I hand in at school; my homework; and in art, we're doing these tiles that get put on the wall forever and ever.

Guess what I did?

Nope, a portrait of Frank Sinatra. Nice guess though.

I suppose I can finish a Marble Hornets music video. Any idea for the time allocated?
