Thanks for jumping in, Doc. I was only able to get it myself because I remembered that code being used by A in Lack of Lexicon.

I was off reading Wikipedia pages about Dick's VALIS trilogy. Presumably that's the "unfinished" our mystery poster is obliquely referring t. I can see some remotely possibly relevant stuff in the summaries for the second and third books, I guess. Perhaps Leonar will come back and share his or her thoughts a bit less cryptically. Smile
