 		Can someone explain the Doc Jowles = Jeff thing to me? I think I missed the explanation (or lack thereof) for it a few hundred pages back.

 		on a slightly more related note: can we be sure that it's actually Alex sending replies at this point? We have reason to believe something besides the boys (at least 2 somethings actually) are capable of using the computer to some degree. Also: if something doesn't happen soon I think my heads going to explode into a small forest of epileptic trees.

but obviously the only way to be right about this kind of thing is to be SO paranoid about everything that you end up right in the end. therefor: all of you must be friends of or related to jeff/evan/vince/jessa/damsel and are ALL in on the game. or alternately...none of you are? so if doc is jeff then you must be..... slenderman/phone/jessa?

To adress things more on topic: we can be pretty sure that alex is posting these thigns because he remains in charcter. when posts have been made that were 'other things' (or the guys beign controlled or what the heck ever it is) there is a total shift in the way it is presented; hence the shift in charcter that we recognize as a different entity. without this, we would ahve no way to know who/what was posting. so following this rule and the trend that they have established with the tweets n such we can safely assume that alex is indeed the one replying. we cannot however safely say that alex is a reliable narrator at this point; though he seems to be slowly coming to his senses.

Dibs on phone. And, yeah that makes sense. I was just kind of tossing something out there that popped into my head. I really kind of hope they use the tension this is building to some good use though.

 		well, why build the tension if they are not going to use it? we have seen a few things they havent used in a while, dreams and the slendy doll being most notable, but they are story tellers and everything they do has a reason Very Happy

 		The fact that they are storytellers is what concerns me about the Alex thing. The most dramatic payoff for everyone involved, audience and characters, would most likely result from his death being part of a greater revelation. All the time they've spent setting him up as in danger just keeps leading me to believe he's not gonna make it out of this in one piece. Also building tension for no other reason than to build it is a perfectly valid tactic in suspense. It's what made Silent Hill so effective. You spent half the game worrying about things that aren't actually going to hurt you only to be blindsided by something that could (and usually did) rip your face off.

 		you make a very valid argument for your side of the case. at this point i have no idea how they're going to use the suspense. i do hope that they don't kill alex because it would make me very sad! but it is true that it would be some sort of turning point and we really might still be in mid-game, ir are reaching alex's mid-game/end game. and on the other hand you're right, they could jsut toss all that suspense away. regaurdless, they did all of it for a reason and i'm sure we'll find out soon/soonish.
