Yeah, Argyle, I know what you mean.
So, say, people are writing ordinary blogs about not necessarily popular hobbies, but somewhere in a forum many nerds are analysing every letter of those ordinary blog. Sounds like a good plot for a postmodern novel, lol.

Regarding the identity of Mysterio, in another thread it was suggested that Josh's dad may have been Josh, Sr., an alien, a Cap't Cooper, etc.

What if the "it" we have yet to see, was/is a shapeshifter, and back in 1979 temporarily lost that ability with the train wreck, becoming the STIES.

Suppose at some point in the conflict in Lillian "it" regained the ability to blend in, but he's stranded and can't phone home.

And suppose he is Mysterio, and looking for objects that are crucial for contacting his/her/it's kind, or finding the "key" that will allow "it" passage home?
