So if we have a letter from 1971 and 1981, could we expect a letter dealing with itty bitty baby Hybrids from 1991 next?
The boys can't be more than 19 or 20, so this would fit (age-wise)

I'm beginning to lean towards a reincarnation theory here. Every so often they're reborn because they've been dealing with Slendy and The Rake yet never seem to succeed. My guess is that it'll be an epic fight at the end and this time they'll finally get to live an entire lifetime rather than being killed or taken. I'm wondering if there will be a letter from 1991 too, it'd make sense if the guys were reborn again after that last letter BUT it'd bypass 2001 so either Slendy got lazy or........yeah I've confused myself now.

They could somehow be ghosts of their former selves, though have somehow been allowed to interact with the world and with us..

Also: New avatar. =D

hmm yeah, that's the flaw in this theory. Maybe something went wrong in 2001?

"Into every generation, the Hybrids are born: three boys in all the world, the chosen ones. They alone will wield the strength and skill to fight the Slenders, Rakes, and the forces of darkness; to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their numbers. They are the Hybrids."

(I've been waiting ages to do that.)

That's what I was thinking.

On a totally unrelated note, mainly because I believe it has bugger all to do with how this story is unfolding. I found a list of anagrams for HABIT. One of which was Baith. It's scottish for BOTH. Probably means nothing but with the phantom tweets I thought it was pretty amusing.....and creepy.

Maybe they're on a ~20-year cycle. The Corenthal babies were born in (say) 1969 and got their shot at beating Final Boss Slenderman. They failed, the Powers That Be waited until the stars were realigned appropriately or whatever, and the VinceEvanJeff[Redacted] program was rebooted in 1989.

Exactly. It's an integral part of the storyline now. Nice find in advance, Didz! Wink
Haha

Mattwan, I was just thinking this.
Or maybe the cycles aren't exact? Maybe it's just whenever they fail? Or maybe they only come back when they're going to be needed?

Also, is Episode 5 or 6 the first with a real Slendy? I've convinced my friend to watch by she couldn't stand the cheesiness of the fake fitness videos (which I kinda enjoyed tbh).

The sixth is the one where they find the real thing in their house. *SHAKEY HEAD OF DOOM*

I laugh everytime I see that. I know it's supposed to be scary in some way, but it's just silly.
I just wanted to make sure creeper window Slendy wasn't the first one (though we'll never actually know for sure)

Yeah that shakey head thing freaked me out way more than the MH slendy. Showed my sister and she made some inhuman noise lol.

The head shaking seems to be either horrifying or hilarious, depending on the person. I think it's creepy. My roommate giggled. ::shrugs::

The fact he's just chillin there in the doorway shaking his head like that is just so narmy to me.
Stoic Slendy scares me. Like where he's just standing there. Once he starts moving, I just find it hilarious.

I just had another thought based on the psychology aspect of EMH. I can't remember if I've mentioned it before.
If we'e going with the split personalities theory. As I've said before, it seems like 2 people arguing internally with each other, a power struggle to be at the forefront of 1 person. I'm beginning to wonder if HABIT is one of the personalities. I completely forgot that when it comes to multiple personalities, they often name themselves. Usually they'll go by an actual name but more feral type ones tend to just pick an emotion or trait. HABIT seems fitting with that. Granted it's also been put into the other letters written by Corenthal but I'm also wondering if, due to lack of sleep and seeing what's happened with the kids, from what the last letter shows, Corenthal slipped into psychosis and now has a personality called HABIT himself. Usually with multiple personalities there will be a mirror personality. That means that basically it'll be the opposite of either one of the others or the main personality. Say there is a shy child personality, there will often be a mirror to it resulting in a confident adult personality. I think when it comes to Corenthal, he himself is out to help the guys but HABIT is out to give them grief. Creating puzzles for them to solve before they get anywhere.
