If there is any point to try and get this London axon still then you'd better be clicking http://www.sealpup.plus.com/ilovebees as it's been updated.

Yeah we were guarding the Les Mis. box as we had high hopes for it. After that I had some running about getting new photos and stuff.
From the irc it seems we still need to unlock this Axon to release the wav file even if one of us doesn't get to be a crew member.
I need to devise a spam free way of contacting me so we can get the London people from the other forums involved. For now please get people to read/post here or PM me. We need a lot of people to finish this off.

So the two red boxes outside 56 Dean Street have been officially written off now? I dragged a friend there tonight, and we got nothing. Thought we'd run into some beekeepers, but no joy there either. Sorry, I find it hard to keep up with all this.
Aw man, sorry we missed you!
We need 'I'm with Pious Flea' shirts, or something. But anyway, I'm glad you were there. I keep getting the feeling it should be those and we're just getting the times wrong or . . something.

I just posted on http://www.penny-arcade.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=3320884#3320884 to try and gather all the London beekeepers. Please direct others to my site or get them to PM me. We need to co-ordinate harcore to finish this off.

I tried widening the search by adjusting the co-ords by a small decimal point and unless www.streetmap.co.uk is inaccurate the spot is very much where it should have been all along. Right on the French House or those 2 original phone boxes on Dean Street.
I can't make it tonight as it has surpassed my g/f's nerd threshold but I strongly urge someone to stakeout The French House pub (shown as PH by the globe symbol on my map). I have it's phone number which you can PM me for.
It can't be the 2 phoneboxes as they have been tested several times.

Actually. Adjusting the points by one or two decimal places on both mapquest and streetmap have no effect. Adjusting the 3rd makes the point jump 50 to 100 metres.

Hi, this is Tom from Monday. I just about made it to the box at the East end of Shaftsbury av. yesterday after a lightning dash along Strand. I'll try the pub Rich suggested today, but has anyone investigated that 2nd possible GPS location on Wardour Street?

That 2nd position doesn't look accurate and there are no phoneboxes in that immediate area. Of course there are about 4 pubs and umpteen shops but to start again at this stage would be futile.
GPS wise the only way of checking that point further is to bring a GPS device to the site.
Be aware the The French House said that their phone didn't ring when I asked them on Monday so if you have another phone to check maybe you can just ask.
Measure for measure I think it should have been the 2 phoneboxes and it hasn't worked out for some reason.
Has anyone emailled Dana? Is it time to do that?

Did that last night. Described some of our antics and gave her the two addresses we got for the coordinates (57 Dean and Wadour/Meard) and the phone numbers (with the correct international dialing codes from the states) for the phone boxes on Dean.
No response yet. I'd recommend other people email her too. It's a good bet they've got filters up and I'm never sure if my emails get through.

No luck again, as you might have noticed. Pretty depressing. Tomorrow's the last day I can do this.
Not many people there today. Mowgli88 texted me to say he couldn't make it. Rogue Element and I met up outside Costas and went to the bank of six phones by the Queens Theatre and St Anns. It seemed like a pretty good choice, lots of phones, and it was pretty near to both of the possible axon points at Meard/Wardour and at Dean. We managed to case 5 out of the 6 pretty well. The northmost one was in use so we couldn't get it.

Probably not. Malrog says the parking fees are murder.

Hopefully, the SP will change the coordinates sometime soon. I think there has been more than enough time to get to these axons. I know our English friends have been very hard at work on their location, but these other ones need to change.
