I really like this video - I see the totheark comparisons, but I think the black-and-grey aesthetic is just different enough in terms of execution from totheark's style to make me forgive it.

I particularly love the shot we get of the boardwalk where the contrast's been set such that only the boardwalk is visible and everything else is blackness, so there's just this looooooong path stretching out into blank, empty space. totheark never came up with an image nearly as cool as that.

It is very different to ToTheArk.

And, really; even ToTheArk had inspiration: Particularly, the description of Exploration #4 in the opening parts of HOL reflects his style, if without the words. Plus, well, David Lynch. I don't think it's fair to downgrade Noah's work because of that. He does pull off effects far, far better than any of the series so far.

God, this is... not something I expected. I am honestly surprised by TribeTwelve, more than I could ever be. Now, let's dissect it and see what we have!

We open with "Hello there NOAH" with the O replaced with that one thing that was in that other internet series. It's safe to assume this is from the same person that left the box in Night Recordings, and who has so far been subtly editing his videos. Now, they've taken over.

Driving down a deserted highway... backwards? Forwards and the footage is reversed? Could be a hint to the backwards music. It reminds me of the Marble Hornets Introduction, actually...

"You will come to us. Alone." Creepy eyeball. Can't identify whose. This links the video to the unknown caller. So now we know the caller is the one who left the box. My old "It's Noah acting subconsciously" theory doesn't much work anymore.

Traveling down a hallway in reverse. I almost want to see someone on the floor, but I'm not certain... might just be the Grim Joker in me eager to claim MH ripoff

A train buzzing by. "Milo's Funeral" reference.

Walking down a path. "Follow the path." What could it mean?!

Running through grass. Checking with the other entries, I can't find a match though... though it could possibly be Milo running in Submission 4 reversed and sped up. Not gonna put money on that.

Dripping faucet. The Ring 2 flashbacks.

"Abandon". Double doors, one opens and black tentacles come swarming through. It's not any of the Maxwell residence doors, since only the front doors are doubles and they're glass.

"Abdicate". We see here... something concerning. I just now made this connection, too. This is a visual call back, reminding us of the 28th picture in the Box Analysis still shot slideshow. And, having gone back and watched that slideshow again, I've made a fresh discovery. The guy I said looked like Evan from EverymanHYBRID is in fact Milo, seen roughly circa the shot from Introduction. An image forms: Milo took all the pictures in Box Analysis, including the one of his brains all over his hands. Now here we have a video of someone with brains all over their hands. Noah's been having a lot of bad bloody noses lately and doesn't know why... I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

"Succumb". We see here someone with a bloody nose. It all ties together. Back... and to the left. I can't tell if it's Noah or Milo or what, though, the contrast destroys all facial features.

Scenery blurring by. Sudden and rather epic camera zoom out with a hidden operator symbol. Damn that looks cool. The zoom out definitely was filmed on the train from "Milo's Funeral", so the scenery probably was too.

"SUBMIT". You know, this black and white stuff with hidden messages is starting to remind me of They Live.

The money shot, footage of Milo from #3. Comparing the two shots, we see that the camera in HelloThere's version is somewhere... above the refrigerator. Huh. I think we're seeing what Slenderman sees, somehow, and the way the scene cuts out with a strange dark whirling motion really sells it for me. Odd he wouldn't show up on that part of the tape from Submission 3... Although there was distortion indicating his presence.

"Time is running out." And backwards, no less. The clock is counting down from 10:40, makes it to 10:35 before it cuts to...

More footage of #3. Milo collapses, then gets up and runs out of the room. "Impatient". I should say so.

"Tick Tock". Clock is counting down from 12:46 to 12:43.

Dripping faucet returns, this time backwards.

Someone walks into Noah's house, looking around the entrance. Possibly the box leaver?

"Find us". Hmmm. "Or we will come in around the tower..." The handrails look like they have pictures of grasshoppers and the sun on them, which as we know is hardly the worst thing you could find on a tower in TribeTwelve.

Quick shot of... boards? The tower stairs? The boardwalk? Can't be sure.

We now know that the makers of TribeTwelve use Windows. Can't tell what program they're writing those 1s in, though. First instinct is notepad, but you can't get text that big in notepad, can you? There's 288 1's, in a 9*32 grid.

"Make a wish". Could mean a lot of things. Someone's birthday? A shooting star? A wishbone? All could easily be very sinister in the context of a slenderseries.

Someone in the shadows gnashing their teeth at the camera. For some reason, this in particular I find unsettling...

"Watches". A face appears. It's not Noah. From the cheekbones, it miiiiiiight be Milo.

"Waits". The boardwalk. A thought: This video is the nightmare Noah's been having these past few weeks.

And then just more scenery flashing by, what a boring end to the videOH GOD.My actual reaction when first watching the video. The tentacles definitely move, though the motion and sharpness shows me how.

Best ARK-video. Those guys outdid themselves!! If this is any indication where this is heading, then KUDOS, and sign me up!!

I'm probably just reiterating what someone else has said, and forgive me if that's the case, but...

The twitter image last night had a clock showing 4:44.

The constant repetition of the number 1.

In the Night Recording video, Noah wakes up at exactly 3:33.

Are we counting down to something? Or up?

This video was as much a piece of art as well as a creepy ass video. Those threshold effects are wonderfully rendered.
