Are the EMH guys aware of TT?

I don't understand your frustration. The Slender Man is the focus of all these video series, so there have to be intertwined themes. I think the totheark-figure army and transformation theory makes sound sense.

As for the House of Leaves... I've heard that in the EMH thread. Is that the house where they first encountered The Rake?

it's a book, luv. look it up. it's a real trip. but at any rate, HOL doesn't seem to have any relevance in this game.

Difficult to say. We get video from several angles that wold be hard if not impossible for a human to position themselves in and in some cases it seems to be a secondary view from old videos. We also have a decent amount of previously unseen movement. I am leaning to some extent on a manifestation of Slender's intent through a remote party. The we implies more than one but a lot of the imagery seems inhuman in nature. It feels like something that got a rudimentary sense of language but doesn't fully understand how to parse it.

I think the frustration comes from trying to follow, then more or less giving up on EMH.

As for your theory, I actually found it interesting, and I think there are good reasons to believe that the Unknown Third Party consists of more than one person that has been taken by Slender Man. But the Rake is purely EMH.

As for time travel… that was one of the things that put me off EMH. I really, really hope TT stay away from it.

House of Leaves is a novel, it's been heavily referenced by EMH.

No, it's more wide spread. My sister does it. I'm pretty sure she learned it from a church youth group. The way they go about it is to say "11:11, somebody loves you" and make a wish.

I don't know why in the slightest, but they do it, so it's not just your friends.

i actually really like that idea. it could be veering into epileptic tree-territory, but it's to my knowledge a fairly recent phenomenon, and it would lend a kind of...current-ness to the game. not to mention turn something cutesy and innocent into something really sinister, which is always fun in my book.

 		There's absolutely no evidence that TribeTwelve has any other internet monsters in it other than Slenderman, so the Rake is right out. Though I like the idea that Noah is being recruited into being a Slenderpuppet...

As for this being a ToTheArk ripoff? Short answer: no.
Long answer: Kinda. While this sort of thing obviously calls to mind ToTheArk, being that they're in the same medium and subgenre, ToTheArk wasn't a 100% original concept either. The most immediate precursor that bobs to mind is the video from Lost Highway. And as creepy videos go, Hello There doesn't resemble that or even ToTheArk so much as it does the video from The Ring, both in content and in possible origin, which is actually in keeping with some of this series' material (Box Analysis uses sound from said video).

It would be absurd to say it's nothing at all like ToTheArk, but it's equally absurd to say it must be a ToTheArk ripoff. It really is a lot like Entry ##### though, with the monochrome and whatnot, just done much scarier...

And on that note, I leave you with this conundrum:

 		This latest twitter post is the first post Noah has made from an iPhone. Why is he posting from an iPhone? Did he get one recently? Is this important? Since hes only ever posted from his computer before. Did he post this at home? Or somewhere else?
