Nope, it actually spells SOA.

clip times from ---. There's no "Who could win a rabbit?" in this one, and the video was weirdly laggy sometimes for me, so these are the least scientific numbers of all time. (OF ALL TIME.)

1, 14, 2, 12, 1, 1, 2, 15, 1, 5, 1, 2, 9, 2, 2, 4, 9, 7, 6, 20, 7, 11, 5, 29, 2, 26, 2, 8, 19, 6, 1

Other thoughts:
1. Vinnie trying to convince Jeff to keep going on with the tapes gives me more of a heebie jeebies every time we get more information/these guys get brought further into all this nonsense.

2. Slowed down to 0.33x speed, the guys all sound hilariously drunk.

Also I think I'm going to leave .- for someone else, since I'm starting to get a headache from intently watching super slo-mo videos.

Yup, mirrors do the same for me. I read a story as a kid about a guy who was cleaning his teeth in the bathroom, bent down to wash the toothpaste out his mouth, stood up and there was some random guy/ghost thing stood behind him, even now at the age of 24 I have to look in the mirror before I stand up properly lol. They freak me out in case I see something I shouldn't see behind me lol.....or in case my own reflection does something absurd lol.

If I would get a dollar every time somebody uses this scene in a horror film...
It's sort of funny in screengrab-mode though:

+ video of VARIOUS of those scenes.

Once you know it... Wink

Uh.. the popularly accepted theory was that they spell SOA. n in morse is -. A is .- The third video is actually titled .-

Although.. what if the video titles are meant to be read backwards? S and O are the same.. but it would be "NOS".

Which means absolutely nothing on it's own either.

@didz: so.. .what is the proper response if your relection appears to not match your actions?

at a guess, scream like a bitch, smash mirror, run like hell, burn house down.......after making sure ALL occupants are evacuated lol.

or seek a priest.

These numbers look a little more workable then the last set. Only time will tell.

I may have to listen to that.

The thing with Vinnie in this one bugs me on several levels. He wants to push on, to not be defeated... and then drops into a background role. And is the one most in denial for most of the proceeding events.

You know, that VII letter being cannon ruined a lot of the theories i was developing until i hit that point.
Pretty sure we just scarred Didz for life there.

Although it's not paranoia if there is an invisible demon out to eat your face.

If I end up on diamorphine again during this labour I know full well I'll wake up screaming about demons in mirrors trying to eat my face. Unfortunately, my boyfriend has already decided that he's going to film ANY stupid shit I do this time on the painkillers......you lot'll be in for a treat if that happens lol.

I dunno, maybe I just saw too many of those, but mirror scene in a horror film = shock to me, so any time this pops up, I'm a bit Rolling Eyes

Mirrors still creep me out in real life though!! Laughing Crying or Very sad

I did see someone behind me in the reflection of my TV screen when I was 14. Call me crazy if you will, but it was freaking terrifying, and to this day, I can't sleep in a room with a blank TV screen or mirror in it. Sad

Also, about the VII letter, have we talked about the possibility that Vinnie could be responsible for it yet? 'Cause one of the other key points in my dream was that he handed it to me. Dun dun DUN!

One of the best ones(and also the one I can never find online) is the mirror scene from Mothman Prophecies.

Poor didz. Please, don't hit play... we all know you'll never sleep again.

And if you actually upload a video of you on painkillers... that's.. just awesome.

I've been meaning to read that some day myself, but right now I'm working my way through Nabokov's Ada, so basically good luck to me getting around to reading anything else until like December. (and when did your avatar become Lucille Bluth? I knew you were awesome before, but now you are most awesome.)
