Last thing before bed: A little speculation that I think isn't quite a tree.

A few days back, somebody posted an exchange they'd had with Jessie in which we were told that Jeff and Vince had grown up together and that they'd met Evan just a few years ago. If that's the case, then it's possible that Evan isn't originally from the area.

In the flickering-light bits, both Damsel and Evan appear to be in some sort of institutional setting. The settings looks similar, but that could just be because of budget limitations. If they were in the same place, though, it couldn't have been during Damsel's recent (possibly ongoing) institutionalization.

Is it possible, then, that both Damsel and Evan spent some time together locked up in a facility back in Alabama? It might require a little handwaving to get the chronology to work out right, but could that be what they were going for? That would help explain why Evan was so ferociously defending Damsel in the "Injustice" video.

Of course, at one point early on Damsel did claim that she didn't know any Evan. That could be because they'd made an agreement to keep their ties a secret--everybody else in this game has big secrets, why not Evan too?--or because she knew him by a different name in the facility. Maybe when she met him there, she only knew him as Habit.

It might also help explain Evan's mysterious appearance in the Damsel/Jessa video--prior to her being taken away, they'd been keeping an eye on one another.

OK, one more little last thing before bed. Here's the audio from the baghead clip, amplified a bit but otherwise untouched. I played around with the higher-pitched bit at the beginning, hoping I could slow it down or reverse it or something and make it more intelligible, but nothing ever resolved.

The second part is definitely "Fuck you". The first bit sounds sort of like "safe" or "thief" to me, but that's far from certain.

Not sure if this was mentioned or to obvious to mention, but the bag head portion looks like it takes place in one of the first basements we saw. the one with all the exercise equipment? I know I see something like exercise equipment.

So, short time lurker, first time poster here. I had been following along with the chatter here the last week or so, and I must say I'm a fan. But on a more on-topic matter, I am officially freaked out by the latest video! I really should have known better than to look at a HYBRID link after 3am. Sleeping tonight is going to be an interesting experience indeed.

Now I just need to figure out if I want to try and sleep, or just spend more time trying to parse what I just saw.

A few things here... One, SPARKY! YAAAAAY!

Two, anyone else notice the 'Sing along, rabbits' at the very beginning?

Three, with the bouncing ball going into the darkness before the countdown at :04, any thoughts on any subtext there?

Four, the bit with baghead sounds like "Evan-" "Fuck you" to me.

At this point, a terrifying thought occurs to me, not terrifying in the context of a horror series (well, maybe a little) but terrifying in the context of having to confirm it: Baghead might be yet another creepypasta monster. Just something about the scene that gives me that same feeling I got when the Rake showed up.

Another thought: The bouncing ball was filmed bouncing out of the darkness, then the film was reversed. Whether that's to go along with the reversal theme of this video or was done to make it look like the ball was being "Force pulled" into the darkness I dunno.

And finally: I don't think the length of the clips will divulge anything morse code wise... the blinking lights, though, that's a start.
