Not sure how helpful it'll be to provide some more nightmare fuel for everyone, but why not?

We're not being called hybrids, we're being called rabbits. If we go buy that disturbing video from AC, we're all doomed. I think this may be confirmation that we're the prey while the cast of EMH are the bait.

I don't want to rule out CC since Vince's story is pretty much that of abuse, and abuse also ties nicely into the CC-idea.

So we have...

- Slenderman: the watcher (depression)
- Rake: the crawler (death)
- Candle Cove: the trauma (abuse)
- Baghead: the blind (loss)

At least from that theory, it would make a lot of sense and lend itself to some great speculation.

Now, if we think about it, Vince's horrible experiences in his past life/repressed memories/whatever the frak's going on, could explain how he's able to remain calm during all this. To me it seems like there's two extremes: One, he's the Stoic in this situation, able to handle these circumstances through sheer personal strength and the iron will of his beard, or, the more likely option, his psychological issues from years of molestation and abuse could explain how he's able to handle these things- he can grin and bear it. It could be built into his psyche. Not trying to glorify the crap he went through, just that, pragmatically, it's probably what's keeping him as the only relatively sane man in the group.

Well, congrats to Damsel finally making a physical appearance in a video. Here's hoping she sticks around.

I'm just really confused. IS Jessa dead? In my cluttered, feeble mind, if there isn't a body, then no one's actually dead. I know it's different with Slender Man, hence my confusion.

And I'm hoping this isn't the end for Alex. I think there could be more that he could do for the story than just serve as another loss for Jeff.

After repeatedly listening to the Baghead section, I can tell you exactly what he's saying. He's got a sort of hiss to his voice...but I can hear it clearly now that I've listened a few times.

He's saying 'HAVE US'. I think he's the 'HABITHASBITME' tweet sender and alter-ego of some sort. Immediately after, between that scene switch, it sounds initially like 'Fuck you'...but I think it's 'Has you'.

It makes me think of Jeff more than Evan at this point, for some reason...but I'm not sure.

Edit: On relistening, it might still be 'Fuck You'. It's a bit hard to catch with the audio laying over each other a bit. But yeah. I'm still certain about the 'HAVE US'. Only other thing it could be is 'NERVOUS', but that makes no sense.

I'm not so keen on the "you are the bait"-theory anymore. I think the monsters are the inner demons of each of the crew.

We know Evan was adopted and that his mother may have been insane (calling her kid HABIT??). We know Vince was abused as a child.

The monsters, to me, are the mirror image of the their inner demons.

Vince was abused, and nobody realized/saw anything. Thus, if CC is real here, he might have seen something nobody else saw. The CC "plot" also sounds a lot like a sexual trauma.
Evan was a sadist, we know that much. If he truly is a killer, the Rake may very well be his inner demon.
Jeff... I'm not sure about him.

The more I think about it, the harder it is to pinpoint their "inner demons"/monsters, but I think this might go somewhere... HoL/SH reference and all...
