Re: 4 x 4
4 pins - 4 categories with 4 items

Scruffylooking wrote:
Hey, I just noticed something.

There are 4 pins.
Face Off
Punch Out
Tron Cycle
Tron Guard

On the map there are 4 things that belong to these 4 categories
Aces - fACEoff, spaceACE, burningACE, omegarACE.
Outs - punchOUT, fallOUT, burnOUT, OUTrun
Tron Games - Tron (cycle), Tron Solar Sailer, Discs of Tron, Tron Evolution
Tron Guards - There are 4 Tron Guards on the map (counting a pair as a single item)

I'm not sure what to do with this.
Is it a giant Circuit Cycles puzzle connecting each category with an unbroken line? Or maybe a shape is revealed if you connect the dots for these locations?

That may be a stretch. Very Happy

Also, you forgot spACEduel, spACEinvaders and OUTlawgolf.

You're right, I forgot about those. But that could just mean more points to connect.

It could be a stretch, I agree. But there must be some explanation for the choice of "Face Off" and "Punch Out" pins. There are much more popular video games titles they could have used.

Encom badge and pins

Here's a question. V 1 of the arcade aid game gave us badges with login info for Encom. Is it possible we will receive more clues through our Encom login?

Arcade Aid v2 Poster!!

I was given a surprise this morning... a poster tube package from Flynn Lives!

Apparently, I was the 189th person to finish the puzzle, so they gave me giant post of the Arcade Aid Challenging Stage V2 image with embossed Arcade Aid logo on it. VEry nice and very unexpected seeing how I got the pins the day before.

The accompanying letter says,

"Great gaming!

If you are receiving this package, then you are among the first 999 peeps to conquer Challenging Stage V2. It was a real race to the finish, but you were #(handwritten number) 189 to find all of the hidden titles. Feels good to be totally done, right? Right?

--Zack

P.S. Right?"

Arcade Aid logo and address below that.

Who else got this?

This makes it completely clear that things are going to heat up significantly again. Methinks Thanksgiving week would be a good time for this, as people are off work?

Wow! That is a beautiful piece of art! And did this come by UPS or regular postal mail?

It arrived via the USPS and their (triangular) poster tube package.

edit: OH, and it was sent from a P.O Box in San Diego (or, at least, that was the return address)
