SO. Now that I'm conscious once again, I'll throw up my theories as to what the hell is going on.

1) I think TILT is probably, as people have assumed, in reference to cheating...or the less than optimal strategy. It does not mean something happens immediately...but it might.

2) Not hearing about Alex being dead, if he is...okay. If you were Jeff, or anyone in that group and someone you know VIOLENTLY DIED (Because let's not kid ourselves, the Rake would probably kill violently or simply drag your corpse away and leave you an empty husk when someone found you.) would you seriously be most concerned about letting the internet know? No. You would not. If they're going for realism, this fits. Plus, what's to say they aren't being prevented from posting or responding by their situation or other various forces?

3) The faceless avatars are awesome.

4) I think Sparky would go before Alex. Sparky has already been uppity with it and he's Alex's only real defender at this point. The Rake would kill him to leave Alex completely defenseless. Toying with his prey.

5) I made a huge list. But seriously, I do not think Alex is dead quite yet...and I do believe Evan might be making his own visit to a mental hospital soon, or at least in the direction of Damsel. He never wanted her in the mental ward, and now that he has Jeff back on the side of getting her out, what's stopping him? Aside from Vince, that is.

I think Sol means he disagrees with Alex being dead, and agrees with Sparky dying being the most likely.

I guess unless Alex's background changes, he's probably not dead yet. But I really don't want Sparky to die. He's too cute...

If someone dies violently. true the internet would not be my first choice, especially Jeff. But I would think in a day or so, Vince could tweet something very quick like, Jeff needs us more than ever. Alex has been taken from him and he really need help etc. Just a little something to allude to him dieing or getting injured or going missing.

But what if Alex disappeared, this may also account for the not posting yet. Maybe Jeff is so wrapped up in Jessa, he didn't notice Alex is gone yet.

(This part seems a bit odd to me. I am madly in love with my boyfriend, I would die for him kind of love, which is what I suspect Jeff feels for Jessa, but I love my sister just as much. If she was attacked or people were telling me she was attacked etc, even if I was depressed about my BF missing, I would still find out what was going on with her. Depending on the depression level, I maybe would jump out of bed and start running around looking for her attacker, but I know I would respond with rage, maybe enough rage to put me over the edge, which is probably why Alex refuses to tell Jeff.)

I really like Alex, but I feel like he is or will soon be a plot point to Jeffs madness. Jeff seems like such a nice, quiet, peaceful guy, the kind that loses his shit the most and goes completely off the deep end.

ETA: I am thinking that if Alex is dead or missing, that Sparky is sharing the same fate as him right now. I mean, if the Rake, killed Sparky, why should he wait another week to off Alex?

And something I never though of, in the video where Alex is bleeding everywhere, he said Sparky was right outside of his bedroom door. I think he may have been providing some kind of protection even then. I think the minute Sparky is gone or the very next attack, Alex is a goner.


Also, Alex better not be dead. We still haven't gotten any footage of his closet at night. I half want to see the Rake crawl out so I never have to sleep again.

Okay.. While i'm trying to deal with my comp troubles, I'm also wanting to go through again with a very, very, critical eye on Evan.. who i'm suspecting is our hidden video uploader (possibly under the control/influence of another source).

This is going to be a long day.

snowstorm knocks my internet out, and i finally come back to find a flurry of speculation on a mystery tweet?

gods, i really do feel like whatever's posting them is just screwing with us now. granted, nothing is without meaning. but egad, this feels like an acknowledgment of our involvement in the story and a taunt regarding our tendency to analyze and theorize the smallest things to death. i didn't think i could feel more unsettled by this series, but dear me was i wrong.

I think the poker/pinball reference might be valid, but I do think its them reminding us Hybrids that its their story and we should stop trying to control it. Because even though its an ARG they definitely have a distinct plan/direction.

The only one I can think about is with Alex getting hurt. Were we cheating by telling Jeff?
