Ok, It's official. You guys are sick.

I was a few pages back and everyone's avatar had already changed, but no one was talking about it or saying anything.. i was seriously freaked out. Nice work

Also, as much as i hate to say it, all signs seem to be pointing towards Alex being dead. Him and Jeff are my favorite characters by far, and i was trying to ignore the signs, but it all makes sense. With this last tweet and the video, they moved from foreshadowing something bad to outright saying it.

Man, things are getting crazy fast, endgame has gotta be getting close.

Saw the tweet on my phone this morning but had breakfast plans before I could check in... spent the whole time wondering what the heck TILT could mean... glad to see that the rest of you have no clearer idea than me!

You guys, the meaning of "TILT" just became painfully obvious to me.

1) All throughout the series, Evan seemed the most likely to lose his shit sooner or later. This was proven when he started laughing when they found the bags of blood in the forest. This trait continues in the newer videos, such as in "Ashen Waste" or even in "Welcome To The Ark".
2) Also, I believe it was box #3 that was wrapped in purple tape. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it Evan who had that color tape? This could possibly mean that Evan was experiencing "episodes", in which he takes the persona "Habit". During these episodes, he made and hid the boxes.
My point? Evan is Habit, and we've seen him have his episodes during the videos multiple times.

The meaning of "TILT" could reference some kind of power shift in the EMH universe. The Hybrids could lose Even to Slenderman for good, therefore "tilting" the playing field.
Then again, this is just my theory.

Ah, if TILT has to do with favoring, I'm thinking Corenthal, because he is the one who favored his patients and his 'daughter'; or maybe soemthing someone else mentioned (pointless to list all theories i may/may not agree with).

as for tragic hero, i'm thinking it isn't jeff; mostly because it is TOO obvious, if it is, i suggest that it is only the most obvious meaning and that it applies elsewise. About how long after that text did we hear of linnie? the tragic hero and unattainable companion could be linnie/william.; if the continue? lines up right as well, it would be after dead girl was found. or maybe it's evan and damsel; which even seems to fit well with out nickname for her. i keep trying to fit vince into the tragic hero role, because he seems to be stoic and trying to be paragon while everyone else spirals down, but what/who would be his unattainable companion? or maybe we are the tragic hero (our actions lead to downfall) and all the emh crew are our unattainable companions, or even better our sanity?

something that i really wanted to point out about rabbits, it seems the use and application of the word has shifted before it was really only in applicance to the EMH crew (including damsel and alex and jessa), and it was really about mindgames/test subjects kind of thing, and now it seems to be much more about death and innocently chosing the wrong path and/or losing of innocence, and also has been directed at us.

I say this every time...

By what we've seen in videos, the boxes, bag, letters, etc...we have an influence. They're listening to us. Not always, not as often as we might think, but they are watching and listening to what we're going after. The best 'game master' will have a plan...but he deviates and adapts when his players move the game in a new direction. I will continue to hold to that theory about our involvement.

We are targets here. Whoever is leaving the mystery tweets and videos IS screwing with us. It doesn't mean we shouldn't look for things. TILT could mean we overstepped our bounds somewhere, or SOMEONE did. Cheated. Manipulated the game.

It could very well mean a power shift as well, yes...but I'm not sure I feel that's it. Evan has definitely been odd throughout the series, but that's a very obvious thing. I want to encourage you guys to look past the obvious...don't adhere to conformity of story. These guys have kept the videos and story interesting. Think outside the box. Get some new theories.

Pray it's just Sparky that ends up missing and not Alex. Focus on the clues we've got already, see if we can find something new.

I don't think we've tried too many acronyms, mainly because nobody abbreviates anything TILT, but hopefully we'll get another update or tweet soon to clarify.

@Scion: Well maybe it also means we need to change how we're looking at it. You mention how we all have a tendency to beat the dead horse into a zombie, maybe this is a sort of subtle way of making us change direction?

Just something else i'd like to point out- Going from the first occurrence of the bracketed text in slushpops-

The next video, self defense- it's the last of the fitness series. and other then a strange shot of evan sitting at the table... No weird editing or easter eggs.

Is it possible we're missing something here?

If I remember right the prevalent thinking around that vid was that it was more of a Chekov's rifle sort of thing where things were being introduced for later inclusion, like the knife and Evan's propensity towards physical violence. Not sure there was anything else to read into on it, but anything is possible.
