I think it's the one from #4, there is less foliage around. You can see the outline of the clouds and I think those drawings were on that tower too.

Nice avatar btw Bartok! Smile

The creator of Jonclubs113 seems to like TribeTwelve. I saw this posted on the Slender Nation forums from him:

I have said a few things about TT before, mostly about how bad it has been at times. I just have to say, upon watching this episode, as well as the few proceeding it, it has gotten amazing.

I hated the acting early on. I still don't love it. But they found their weak points and worked on them, and they earn respect for that. What is really amazing however, is their audio-visual work. It has been on occasions before ,and is as of right now, notably better than Marble Hornets. I would never go so far in my blasphemy as to say the series is better overall (it's not. It has lots of weak points and less interesting of a story, apart from being derivative) but I do feel like the TT guys are officially the masters of special effects, timing, audio design and overall a/v impact. Kudos to them.

Any one else notice that the second time the clock appears on screen, at 1:30, three of the clock's four hands are on the 9?

Probably coincidental, but to be honest, there are A LOT of repeating numbers...to who knows.

Agree! Noah is king, because that was the most AWESOME TTA-like video EVER, it's way better than the original. MH have lot's of catching up to do, even with TT, if they plan to impress on S02.

Frankly, I really doubt. Topping TT would be doable, but not EMH. It's too big, too complex. Frankly, EMH crew have GREAT writers.

Maybe I just don't get it, but I'm not nearly as impressed with EMH as everyone else is. I think it's too inconsistent and meanders too much. It has moments of brilliance (like trying to run over Slendy), but as a whole it feels too varied and too spread out. I think MarbleHornets is still the best, mostly because of the second half, then TribeTwelve, then EverymanHYBRID.

Personally, my favorite is EMH, then TT, then MH. Rewatching MH now...The acting was, frankly, shocking at points, the characters were bland...even the TTA videos were a little disappointing. It holds a position in the timeline, but more as a stepping stone to establishing a genre, not necessarily as the best example of it.

I'd have a hard time ordering them, they're all good in different ways. I'd say TribeTwelve has, by far, the best special effects and EMH has a more interesting story, but Marble Hornets has the best presentation, in that it's a bit complicated but not so badly that you have to be a member of Unfiction to follow it. J Random Slenderviewer who checks out the EverymanHYBRID video channel might catch Can You See The Words, but he's never gonna figure out WickedStickyAlex or MitzieStar, or know about the mystery letters and bags.

So basically, I don't have a favorite of the three, but I do rate them all #1 on their own lists.

I've been following EHM every once and a while and I have absolutely know idea who MitzieStar is.
MarbleHornets is always going to be at the top of the list.

MitzieStar is the girl Jessie from one of the videos who said that Dr Corenthal was her uncle or something.

Despite all of the wikis and explanation threads, I'll never be able to fully grasp Everyman in its entirety. That's why I like and Marblehornets better. Their formats are easier to follow and more drawing. I could never be drawn into EMH because none of their vids made any fucking sense, even when viewed in order. Then, to top that off, they started adding more channels and twitters and tumblers and whatever they did. And if that isn't enough, they confused us even more with the OOG vids that were taken down. Their new video came out a day after Tribe's HELLOTHERE video and was very weak compared to it. (I mean standing in corners? Really? REALLY?) EMH does have some strong points, but only when they involve Slender Man. This Habit/Rake shit is unexplained and convolutes things even more. I stopped following, not only because their quality has really been going down hill compared to some of their previous work, but because their material is becoming uninteresting and it feels they are trying too hard to keep viewers interested. They keep trying things by adding more characters that are hard to keep track of and keep the humor element of their dialougue way too prevalent, it really takes away from any reality the series attempts to create. TT and MH lack of complexity is both a weakness and a strength, but the strengths are better than the weaknesses in their cases. Their simplicity makes them have superior watchability and longer appeal compared to several minutes of dull filler. Sure, they didn't get posted as often, but damn, were they quality compared to what the majority of EMH is putting out now. MH will always be #1 due because they came first, but Tribetwelve comes second because they really emulate the same feeling I had when watching MH, despite the fact that they copied MH's style fir their first few episodes. They pulled it off well enough for me to disreguard it. EMH fails to due to their inferior content and lackluster presentation. </rant>

Now if only they could all get together. TT's effects, EMH (albeit confusing) story, and MH's performance...they could make this into a motion film, I bet.

A straight up motion picture about Slenderman could be good. In my head I picture something a bit like EVP or The Ring.

EverymanHYBRID hasn't really been suffering in content, I feel, the problem is more they're building tension using traditional techniques, but in a series that has video content only once or twice a week, that sort of pacing can fall flat. Look at MarbleHornets, for example. Much more fun to watch all at once than piecemeal.

The same thing happens with TribeTwelve, but the guys behind it seem to "get" that people are waiting a week or so between updates anyways, so one video doesn't really need to build tension for the next.

Gonna be a bit weird to watch afterwards all at once, though.

EMH is not confusing. It's spread. They have more than one of everything. More than one point of view, more than one storyline, more than one foe, more than one mistery. EMH is just BIG. Massive even.

TT is closer to MH in many points. But they are more gifted on the quality of video edition..

MH is the one left behind because they don't publish a thing. Kinda of Duke Nukem Forever of it's genre.

I feel like they're already together and what we're getting surrounds us so much more than a film. It's three different big-shot video series about one topic. They have inter-related themes and enemies in them and the mythos just grows. Eventually, I think it would be interesting if the bridges between the three series I see being discussed could actually be shown through video. Although... maybe MH is a bit different, but I firmly believe TT and EMH are connected.
