Vlog 2 from David (Foe):

November 8th:
Title: He's Here then under comments: Get out.

This is the vid that David cannot see for some reason. Also the one Layton has recieved feed back about. See pg 2 for the "he cannot see" ref.

At :02 you hear David respond to someone over the internet on his headset "Yeah, hold on 1 second"
At :03 you begin to hear high distortion that is reminicent of an open headest with a fan on high right next to it
At :04 there is a break from the normal vid feed. the distortion continues.
"splice in" what it looks like to me is a negative image of an uncooked egg withe the yolk being torn into (or being broken out of?) We are given a couple of views of the quickly.
At :06 its back to David, looking down typing. The high distortion carries over this shot.
At :09 the distortion continues. yu can barely hear him reply again to someone over his head set "I'm sorry. That took a little longer than I thought" (I think) The I'm sorry is clear, but he speaks quickly. Meaning he is probably speaking to a friend someone used to his voice, and not vlogging. He spoke with much more clarity on his first submission.
At :10 we get the "splice in" of the QR code on a white sheet of paper with wierd drawing sort of darkened out to make QR the main focus.
At :13 we see the shadow behind him rise/enter room on the wall directly behind him. Also, audible distortion ends.
By :14 the shadow is seen walking towards his bed area, presumably to the closet.
At :19 something is said, most likely by shadow, but i cannot make it out. It is too quiet for me to hear.

From :06 to end at :21, David is completely unaware of any of this happening.

Ok, so we can assume that all the wierdness began after this strange little sapling was given to Blake from Prof Basire, who then planted it in David's yard possibly the day after he recieves it. I am assuming this because most peeps hate to go on campus on the weekends for class unless they really love something or their prof has time to meet w them. So on that spec we'll say that Blane had possesion of said tree since the 6th of November.
6th:He planted that night, thus creepy goings on at David's unbeknownst to Blake at this time.
7th: Blake goes to David's house, sees creepy vid, they decide to post on a vlog about it.
8th: Blake blogs about getting tree from Prof and having a sem to figure out what it is. Goes to David's to check on it. Discovers it has not only grown, but moved as well. Also David is filmed through his webcam with weird "splice ins" and shadow on wall as well as audio distortion and something being said at end of clip. He and Blake are unaware of this vid and cannot see it uploaded on David's vlog. Blake goes home and blogs about change in sapling.
9th and 10th: Blake continuuse to blog, no new entries to David's vlog.
From the 11th: Leyton emails and recieves answer embedded with italicized clues: The roots Grave are "Patrick" thirst growing. Leyton then responded in like with his own respone: What roots? Who is Patrick? Why are we typing in code? Leyton then recieves confirmation that Blake and David cannot see second vid and this:break the code roots see (again in italics).
the 12th on it is easy to follow so far.

:edit: Im also going back through your emails between you and Blake again. Going to add them into the timeline. I'm normally great w/ letter solves but I have nada yet

:edit: do you think root see might be root C? i wish we could get more bodies in on this also, found interesting tie into dante's inferno as well. forgot that Blake was apprenticed by Basire...

Well I've yet to hear anything from Blake since the email so either he's taking the weekend off (The PM that is lol) Orrr... We're still looking in the bloody wrong places lol.

Nothing new on youtube nor on Blake's blog as of yet either.

EDIT: odd, i used an online barcode reader for the image i got from the second vid, it came up as, oddly enough, http://dendrology.blogspot.com
EDIT2: and cross-referencing it with an online QR-code[i learnt the name for these things ^_^] generator, it matches :/

*happy dance* Just got an email response from Blake about the seeds he is sending out! He said they'll be sent out as soon right after the 20th.... maybe there will be "extra padding" if we are still stuck!

Could someone please try figuring out the scribble on the flyer?? I'm having NO luck whatsoever

Luck of the draw? I like scary entity dude...hes been giving us nudges at least!! Ok, going back to letters and treating them as seperate entities; letters on the "tree door" and letters on the bottom. All we have solidly is "Patrick" signed the graffitied letter....and i still do not understand the strikeout where they overwrote deadotanists instead of
amateur botanists. (other than a warning of things to come?)
