MH is the one left behind because they don't publish a thing. Kinda of Duke Nukem Forever of it's genre.

I agree, and like someone said in a previous post, TribeTwelve is like the Valve of the genre; whenever they put out something, it's really great quality, but it takes quite a while.

EMH is more or less like the Star Wars or the genre. Albeit not as popular as the said comparison, some of their videos have been hits, and some have been shit. And, just like Star Wars, they can't stop expanding their series.

This is gold.

I disagree about the Valve bit. Not most of their work is premium... I would say that most of the entries from the grandfather are really premium. THAT entry defines were the table was turned.

The problem with MH is that the break took so long that people got used to the enemies. Back when I first got into MH (Around Entry 25), Totheark and Slenderman were terrifying. The element of mystery behind them worked incredibly well. During the hiatus, we all got used to the videos, therefore making them no longer scary. But when I saw the new Twitter pictures, I near shat myself. Just seeing totheark controlling Jay's Twitter shows how they're diving into S2 headfirst, and I love it. In the end, the long break will probably pay off.

EMH seemed like a weak Slender-blog effort on YouTube with the first few videos. They hid Slendy in the most obvious places, taking away from the challenge of trying to find them. I'm not sure if they were really this lazy at first, or if this was planned, but they really turned that into an excellent story arc, with Jeff missing and some mysterious girl known as Damsel. But, as other people have said, it's a very hard series to follow if you didn't know about sites such as UnFiction, it's just to spread out. The major plot points are mostly in the core YouTube videos, though.

TT is less of an ARG as much as it is a MH 2.0. The story is slightly different, but they borrowed a lot of elements from MH, including the TTA video. While most people regard "HELLOTHERE" as their best video, I'd have to agree, but I disagree with it being a better TTA video. MH had already hit it's stride when they introduced the TTA channel, and it was a fun diversion from the core entries. The TT version seems more like an attempt at jumping the shark so that they can flesh out the barely there story.

I still love att three, but I'm going to have to say, for me, it's MableHornets > EverymanHYBRID > TribeTwelve.

Uh, it's pretty clear by this point that the really obvious Slendy appearances in the first five or so EMH videos was, in game, the characters deliberately including someone dressed as Slender Man as an Easter Egg.

Yeah, the crappy Slendervlogging in EMH was intentional, the real deal shows up to stay in #6 (and possibly appears earlier...) and then it just leaps headfirst into madness.

My friend drew this Tribe Twelve fan art. It's supposed to depict the story that Karl told of Slender Man and the Nazis.

Dude, that's awesome. It's kind of odd that he's in a MJ pose with shoes on, but those hands are creepy as shit.

He's talked to me about possibly making a Slenderman comic out of it somehow. He is an extremely talented artist and I think it would be quite epic. Very Happy
