Checked and the sam tracker hasn't been updated, so it looks like this is something else.

Anyway, assuming FSURobbie's pic is accurate, I subtracted the number of the 'pointing clue' from the one in the circle, and got what looks like 3 sets of coordinates:

Or, just 9 numbers.

I know we already tried the connect the dots idea with no result, but what if we add the 4 pins mailed out to the equation, making it a 13 point picture instead of just 9 points. Maybe something will be revealed then.

I don't have a poster (yet) so I can't actually try it.

Tried using game numbers that appear along the line between points for a given .PDF. No go.

Hm. Why else have faceoff and punchout, let alone one of the guards?

Actually, how would we activate the guard...unless the rest were supposed to be identified, followed by clicking on the guard?

Okay, wait a second. This puzzle is probably like every other one so far this game. It's not as difficult or as complicated as we keep making it out to be. I'd vote that we put aside converting the filenames to numbers and whatever.

Robbie, I'm goign to try to duplicate what you did, just to confirm. I don't want another encomgames.jp all over again where we ended up needing a hint because the incoming data was too much garbage.

there's more than what meets the eye. something big is coming up.

for example: dazeddigital is giving away 100 tix to see another imax preview.
daft punk theatric performance tomorrow and saturday playing parts of the soundtrack on radio.

I'll have to agree....although I don't recall the problem with encomgames.jp (only because I was working when everyone solved that one)

Someone post what we know, nice and neat, and what we think is the right path and go from there.

IMHO, I don't think the posters everyone is getting are going to be a part of this. Everything we need should be in the PDF files and the Arcade Aid site.

the encomgames.jp puzzle was a fiasco that extended 40 pages long. people thought the codes were from 30 year old computer punch cards and at least 5-10 times people said it was braille, without even reading the previous parts of the thread where we ruled that out

Overthinking an otherwise simple problem happens often around here.

This should not be overly complex, and should not require arcane knowledge and off-the-wall mechanics.

Once we solve this, I'm guessing we'll have a collective face palm... Answer is staring us in the face, but we're overengineering a solution.

if people cant figure it out, as was the case with .jp, Flynn Lives is gonna have to throw us a bone. problem is, they can't wait 2-3 weeks to send out a second hint like last time.

dumb thought but what if the combinations people got of pins add more circles and lines to the puzzle.

I got lightcycle and guard which doesn't intercept anything, but maybe other combinations do?
