The Wild Card Gang were the idiots who got me into this in the first
place. They're a bunch of people who dress up like cards out of a
deck and run around thinking they're the bomb. In fact, these were
the people who thought it would be funny to throw me off of the
Empire State Building during my small trip to New York. I don't
know their true names (as possibly this puzzle is hinting at) but I
do know their street names and how the group works. I only spent 6
hours tied up as a hostage with these crazies.

Wild Deuce - Their leader, which is seen by the Joker card. I would
believe that that's why the 2 is in the picture. His face is pretty
normal... well... one half is... the other side is corrupted into a
black mask with a bright red glowing eye. He wears a Jester outfit
and uses a Jester's Cane as a weapon. He almost looks like he
walked off of a card and began his life of crime.

Acey (Not Pictured) - Acey is Deuce's girlfriend. She wears the
harlequin outfit of the group and a very ornate masquerade mask. She
helps Deuce lead the rest of them, because the other 4 get out of
hand alot of the times. Once again, looks like she would be more
comfortable on the front of a card. Her weapon is a silver ribbon
that has the ability to wrap around her enemies. She doesn't fight
much, though.

The Queen of Hearts - A funny duck, she's really kind one minute and
pretty insane the next. Her powers deal in the arts of charm and
seduction. She wears a very ornate dress with a heart shaped corset
and a silver tiara with a heart made out of a ruby. Just as pale as
the others, and just as done up with makeup. Her weapon is a bow
and arrow, the arrows tipped with sharp red ruby hearts. Cupid she
isn't.

The Queen of Diamonds - People say that most women love jewlery.
That's an understatement for the Queen of Diamonds. She ADORES it.
In fact, she'll do anything for them. To aid in saving myself,
Belle threw a diamond ring past the Queen in order to distract her.
Too bad that only worked once, even though she loves jewlery to this
day...

She too wears a very large and ornate dress, only hers is
embroidered with many many gems. Her corset has a diamond
embroidered on the front using real gold thread and real diamonds.
She wears a beautiful diamond necklace, and her tiara is made of
solid diamond. Her weapon is a diamond shaped disc made of, you
guessed it, diamond.

The Jack of Spades - A fellow really prone to anger. Loves to break
things, including people. A brawler by nature, he dashed head
strong into anything, unless Deuce tells him otherwise.

Wears the traditional Jack garb as seen on the front of the card,
only his Spade logo is printed on his shoulders, his cuffs are
shaped like spades, and even his belt buckle is a black metal
spade. Thick black beard with a black spade design on his one eye
would be the description of his face. However, he uses no weapon,
he uses his strength to destroy everything. If you really want a
mention of a weapon, then I guess his black leather gloves equipped
with black metal knuckles would count.

The Jack of Clubs - The smaller guy who always follows the Jack of
Spades around. He's the witty one of the bunch, and uses his spare
time to play card games with himself. He's also acrobatic and very
dexterous, which makes him a dangerous opponent.

He wears almost the same garb as the Jack of Spades, only replace
all spade references with the symbol of clubs. His hat is also
shaped in the club symbol. And his weapon? A mace patterned after
the clubs logo of course, 3 solid black metal balls in a triangle.


Also, I really really doubt that Queen of Hearts Rachael is the same
as Rachael Requiem. I've spent enough time with Rachael Requiem,
and enough time with Heart to believe that they are surely not the
same person. Totally different personalities, totally different
appearance, totally different everything. Rachael is a very kind,
down home girl. Heart is just a complete and utter... you know...

So, yeah, in other words, I DON'T LIKE THESE GUYS!! And I'd hate to
find out that they too are in on all of this.

 		Ok, well I'm going to put my post back, but in quote form, cuz it IS in the right thread (just a bit rant-y... sorry.) It's in response to Randomeis' post a couple back...(but not just him/her... it's to anyone questioning the paper)

 		Wow, I can't believe my question caused Brendan to post all that! Awesome.

/me goes to update the characters wiki with all this juicy info

DM, are you in the right thread?

EDIT - Sorry DM, I didn't see what you were answering there, and I thought maybe it was meant for the other paper thread.

 		my question wasnt about the paper i was asking about the prettymisspink artical. but i do see now that its something the real paper uses too. i was just thrown off because the PM's forgot to do it atleast once in theirs

Aren't harlequin outfits black and white? That could be a tie in to the Black and White on the shuffle page?

 		Listen, this could be important: When did the gang try to throw Brendan off the Empire State Building?

See, Rachael Requiem was captured along with S_Roberts around May 10 2004. The only definite date we have for Wild Card Gange acitivity is December 2003. If the Rachael of the gang and Rachael Requiem are the same person, then that means Brendan must have been assaulted sometime before this date--or else Shadown let her go, which sems unlikely, and we have no evidence of gang activity after this point.

Either that or Rachael and the gang have been working for Shadown all along.

I'm at school right now, otherwise I'd post this to the Judges group. if nobody takes this up by the time I get home I'll post it myself.

Excellent question, 5th Earth. We were discussing other questions to ask him just there in chat, so I've added this one to our other ones and posted it to the Yahoo Group. Hope that's okay! Very Happy And feel free to add anything you think I may have missed.

 		I think there is definitely more to Brendan than we know
I think we need to really get more info on Brendan, it is just too strange that in an entire city like NY, he was singled out by the gang to hold hostage and try to kill. That could have all been a ploy to get Brendan inside the Order.
