And, I got another chance to look up the actual number and it says it is located in New Kensington, Pa and that it is a land line. And as far as the white pages, the name is unlisted.

Off-topic: If/when I find someone who is willing to let me borrow their small child, I'm going to be participating in an ARG with a female lead. So, they are out there!

And New Kensington, PA is like.. just over an hour away from me. Spoooky.

If you can't figure out a way to record it.. why not just film it with a camera while it's playing? It might not be the best quality, but I'm sure it would still work.

edit: If the phone number was easily traced back to a landline in PA.. maybe it was from William or Rose? They've had problems with The Rake, and it'd make sense for them to be in PA, since the bag and stuff was found there.

The sound does start out pretty quite in the beginning but after a couple second in on the second one, it gets louder. Just a warning because it made me jump.

Anyway, so the quality of the sound may improve as the video is still processing, but it sounds almost exact to the phone messages. The fuzziness and the weird feedback sound was in the original message as well. I am still pretty sure I heard police, maybe not so much fire.

Meh, I'm Slender obsessed and paranoid. A garbage bag on the side of the road has the potential to be part of the game. But seriously, I thought about it and played for my mum and she goes, you know who that is don;t you? I was all relieved thinking she knew the number or it was something she got too and then she goes, it was the rake. Yep, thanks for that.

Thats my mum. I just shared the Rake creepy pasta with her, so she was all over it.
