eta: Dav, the original thread is a good one, but is Gupfee still around to update the first post? I feel that at this point, having the information be contained in one or three posts at the beginning will be more essential than adding it to a very long thread... we've already generated so much content from season 1 that I think it would be a miracle if a newbie came in and managed to read it all (or even finish a single of those mammoth 300-page threads!)

Having a fresh 'Official' thread for season two segregates the two from one another and, I think, is less intimidating to newbies who have only just discovered the series.


Yeah, any thread over 100 pages tends to be rather intimidating. When I originally discovered Marble Hornets (2 weeks after it ended), I did not bother to read those threads because of their triple digit status.

Modularity is a good thing so long as a high level of cohesion is maintained.

 		They gave like three weeks before this due date (if that is what it can be called)... I'm sure that they've been working on it since before they even announced it, so they've had pleeeeenty of time to make the first video or so mind-blowing.

 		Guys, this is supposed to be the official thread, for updates and major theories. Please keep the chatter in another thread.

And if possible next time you swing by, Dav, could you do some cleanup of this thread maybe? It'd be awesome for it to actually be a resource for newbies, once things start getting hectic!

 		I had an idea. What if season 2 is revolvign around ALEX, not J?? Like Alex escapes Slender Man , and J gets kiddnapped, or is too on the run to post. Alex would take over.
