Hello Flynn

Has anyone ever compiled a complete list of ALL of the HelloFlynn.com codes to date (not just the new ones) and what they unlocked? If not, can someone do that so we are all caught up with it? Thanks.

I'm convinced that the symbols on the front and back of the Digital Gaming book cover are some sort of numeric code. If you look at it, it is 12 rows of repeating symbols on both the front and back.
How many characters do we need for a helloflynn code? Yep, 12.

I'm working on it and will report my findings.

Not sure if anyone tried this yet, but I converted the blocks on the digital gaming book to binary and came up with the following:

Front, then Back:
011 101 110 011 100 011 101 011 010 101 101 110 010 111 011 001 100 011 111 010 010 001 011 101

Translates to:
w8Vُ]

Back, then Front:
010 111 011 001 100 011 111 010 010 001 011 101 011 101 110 011 100 011 101 011 010 101 101 110

Translates to:
]Esn

Also, not sure if it's been noted, but "Hydecker" sounds like an Anglicized version of "Heidegger", as in existentialist philosopher Martin Heidegger.

OK, translated the symbols on the back to:

273143722135

However, when I put it into helloflynn, nothing happens, BUT I don't get an invalid code message either. Will someone else please try the code?

Already discovered. That opens a file called "artificial.intelligence". It's the alarmingly-small flower pic some of us have been comparing to the new Solar Sailer pic...

HAHAHA...not enough coffee. I though he translated the real binary code on the cover of another book. The reason they didn't do anything when I input them is because I already did it last night. Duh...I thought I was onto something. Embarassed

A thought...the picture of Jordan & Sam looks like a poorly-timed/-composited HDR image to me. Someone else mentioned the image looks like it's made of three separate images. HDR photos require three passes: one for shadows, one for mids, and one for highlights, which resultis in very vivid color saturation, which the photo looks like it has.

Does anyone know of a way of separating an HDR photo into its component images?

there should be something that says, WOW you GOT THE BONUS LEVEL!

or something, just letting us listen to audio does NOTHING!

Just thought I would point out, all that content we have gotten...that's a bonus. Free swag is great, but it's a gift. The whole point of an ARG is to get you to take part in a story. All the awesome stuff unlocked today enriches and deepens the background story for all of us playing and will give us a greater appreciation for the film.

Badges and swag are great, but the story is the ultimate prize, and we got a pretty big payoff yesterday.

Word.

A sign that we had reached the end of this puzzle would be nice, but then it wouldn't be as realistic I guess. Smile

If memory serves, the AI puzzle didn't end until some time after the film had been released. Too bad the movie wasn't anywhere near as cool as the game. :\

True, but

I agree that unraveling the backstory is part of the fun, but is the consensus that this is the end of this clue set? At least for now? Or are the gears still turning?

(you guys have been doing a kick-ass job, btw.)

SWEET

I knew as soon as I dozed off someone would find the next clue and I would be #101 of 100 to get something for it.

I am glad to see we are all still working on this.

WOOHOO!
