I'm tempted to swing on by the Disneyland Resort's DTD the day they do the sales just to see the line. While I may think the price is outrageous I know full well that they will be sold out by the end of the day. Disney is one of the few companies on earth that can sell it's garbage at a profit.

If DL can't sell off all of its 55th anniversary vinylmations by now...when there are probably many more extreme disneyland fans over there then there are extreme Tron fans...the tron vinylmation may fail...although I can't wait to see the normal, and much more reasonably priced, Tron vinylmations go on sale Very Happy. They could make some kick butt designs.

They are probably doing a very small run because they know it is a niche as opposed to Disneyland stuff which can sell really quick.

Those are pretty nice Eolith. Are you planning on keeping them inside the packaging, or are you going to open them up? How's the quality on the actual figures? I have a few figures made my Neca, and some of them are hit or miss on the quality.

tron figures.

I have those Neca ones and I have some loose TOMY ones, they are EXACTLY the same.

My Neca Packages are so gunked up and trashed from years in storage that I am thinking about opening them.

That one you have with the retro packaging is the one to aim for.

I have seen the Flynn in one, the Warrior, and the Sark. I don't know if they did a tron one or not.

I always open my figures for prominent display, but I might make an exception for these, as the packages are actually cool. However, because of the shipping they're all curved like that, which is a bummer, so not entirely sure yet.

I haven't really looked at the quality, but they look just like the toys I remember playing with as a kid.

In that shot I took, you can see the Tron figure on the bottom right.

Got the lightcycle today:

That bust of Flynn looks pretty slick! I wonder if they are going to pump out a few from Legacy.

t shirt design

I created a t-shirt design for the threadless tron contest, unfortunately I did not get enough votes for the shirt to be made because the shirt was not flashy enough. I was thinking of making the shirt for myself anyway and thought I would get the communities opinion if they would be interested in it as well.

By the way the 89 logo would glow.

If I made the shirt it would sell for the cost to make it plus shipping. I am not sure if I would have legal issues though. Seeing as the design contains logos I don't know if this would be an issue.

Please pm me with thoughts on both.

I remember when these came out. Limited run of 5000 I believe. I have the yellow cycle (Tron) with a low premium number of 14.

If anyone wants the Exclusive Toys R Us Hero or Villain pack, let me know. My store, as of yesterday, still had 4 villain packs and 2 hero packs.
