I would love to but I doubt finances will allow it if the Encom East thing becomes a reality instead of fanboy speculation, which is sad because I would love to meet up with everyone and shake hands and say thanks face to face.

I'd like to note that the idea of giving away Ducatis was mine. I didn't say for everyone though - let's be realistic. Now 4 of them at special premieres...

I still want an 89 Forever keychain. Some day maybe I could buy the Camaro.

So anyway, on with the group hug.

With all this communal good feeling going on, when are we going to start planning some viewing parties of the original to be followed by heading to the premiere? I think that sounds fun. (Have 20th Anniv. DVD, will travel.)
Cool

Great idea! I might actually be able to make a local viewing party! And yes, if Ducati's are handed out the first one needs to go to Euchre... Cool

Wow. What a week. Missed a lot, and then lost my 89 pin. I shouldn't have bragged a lot! Sad Thank God He has another set in store for me. But honestly.. not to cry here but that was such a once-in-a-lifetime pin! Sad I will never loose these once again. (I hope I'll get the poster though :p)

Okay we know they are reading this and they see what the type of swag we talk about and would like, and they came through.

Let's stop asking for cars and motorcycles and get back into the game! Besides, a light cycle would be more like it. TRON related and what not.

Fine...

42E Tommy doesn't want a Camaro, he wants one of these...
In all seriousness, I AM appreciative of what they have done.

It's amazing what they did, and I wouldn't have cared about any other movie they were doing other than TRON, but I know whatever movie they tackle next, those fans are going to have a blast.

Yes. I would totally drive that!

HAHAHA..I bet you would man.. I can see you pimpin that thing out here in El Cajon, since most cars look like that!!!

HAHA, I'm not East County and La Mesa is as far east as I go!

Oh, excellent! Thanks for that idea. Before install I guess I'll carouse Firefox's plugins just to see if there's anything there. Dunno why I didn't think of a web-based utility before. *facepalm*

Ok, here's a little thought... the pop-up store in L.A. is apparently pretty close to where Flynn's used to be, as was the address on the architectural schematic. Someone might want to check and see if they match up.

Either way, that store might have something hiding in it.

I was just at the store and there is nothing there that would assist with the ARG (picked uo an exclusive T-Shirt and the Graphic Novel as well as copy of the coffee table book of "The Art of Tron").

Picture of the shirt, and if it's cool, will you be taking orders for us? Smile

As in where the original exterior use to be? Neat.

I remember hearing that the space became a resturant, I wonder if it's now closed up since that industry is failing hard.

Wow, that's awesome. Do you know if any/all of that artwork was for sale? I recognize the old school Flynn piece from SocalSteve's pics of artwork for sale at Disney, but some of that other stuff (retro light cycle, Tron, Sark) is amazing!

It's all for sale including the artwork, I almost picked up the Tron Warhol canvas for $150. The Red Sark was $350.

I stumbled upon Flynn Lives by accident, thinking it was some sort of fan page or whatnot. Somehow, I managed to find my way here. Been involved (mainly lurking due to work) since February. Got to go see the trailer preview, the 23 min screening, missed out on Comic Con, and other live events during the day (damn work again), but really started trying to participate as much as I can just recently.

This being my first ARG, I am loving it. Although I am no good with photoshop, analyzing files, binary etc.... I've been able to help out with the BIT word documents for Tron Night and this last one.

I can't wait to see what they have in store for the last bit leading up to the movie. Whatever happens, I am thankful for 42E for creating this and hope to be involved in many more (I signed up at 42E back in Feb).

Love the people here too. Ya'll are a great group!!!

See you on the GRID!!! (Or involved with the next puzzle, whichever comes first!)

Kevin

I second that. Well said Smile

If somebody remembers, please ask there about why so much of this stuff isn't available anywhere but the L.A. area, or even online.

For those here who were concerned that this was the end of the game, fear not. Per Flynn Lives on FB:
