Hey, we saw in this video that Alex has been keeping his fake Slender Man in his room. Maybe the Rake saw Alex play that prank on Jeff? It saw Alex bring the vacuum cleaner bits back indoors and - its huge black eyes being more adapted for night vision than bright sunshine - it thought to itself [scoobydoovoice]"Ruh roh! Slendy's in trouble!"[/scoobydoovoice] and went to help what it thought was its skinny pal.

Then, when it came out into Alex's room at night, it couldn't find Slendy anywhere, so it was scratching Alex out of frustration.

i, for one, do not trust jeff.

he got damsel institutionalized, went catatonic for who knows how long, and now claims to be playing video games while a horrific monsterthing is lurking upstairs. something here sounds...really messed-up.

Heard back from Jeff after I direct messaged him on Twitter...

Here's what I sent in response to his last tweet to me:

That message kind of confirms to me that it means that Jeff is probably the one posting all videos, including this last one.

While we're on the "can't trust Jeff" kick, I wonder if he's deliberately withheld things from the other guys.

I want to trust Jeff, but...after everything lately, I can't seem to. Especially after how depressed and introverted he's been. As someone who spent half a year sinking in depression I know how someone can't exactly express/function well when in that kind of state.

It's not even possible to keep up with this damn thread, so I'm not even going to pretend to know what you guys have already discussed, but... but... the end of that most recent video just cracked me right the fuck up.

Alex's deadpan is amazing.

Now that I've got more of a chance to go over the video "Alex", a couple of things I notice:

- "Surveillance" clip #1 has a high vantage point, a fair bit higher than anyone could manage holding a camera up above their head. Despite that, the view sways subtlely. There's also a background sound of some sort, something mechanical like a small electric motor. And for some reason, the footage cuts twice, despite there being no lapse in the footage before and after the cuts (i.e. we're not missing anything when the screen goes black).

- Clip #2, on the other hand, is shot at a much lower perspective, about knee-height. This clip does not have the mechanical background sound of the first video. Alex's clothing is also different, which means that it was shot on a different night.

- Evan is wearing a Bioshock 2 T-shirt. This seems a little different from his usual outfits; I don't recall him wearing anything with a modern logo before. Bioshock's theme is an underwater dystopia stalked by genetically-modified humans fighting for the basics to survive. Could be meaningful, could be coincidence.... Also, Alex is wearing a hoodie with a picture of fish on the front. More water symbiology.

- When Evan says "Lemme see it", Alex looks right at his arm even before he tries to feign ignorance. You're not going to do well in poker, Alex. Also, someone else is talking in the background behind him; the voice sounds slurred. I can't make out what's being said.

- The Rake needed less than a minute (subjective time) to utterly trash Alex's room.

- It sounds like the voice is saying "I AM IN HERE". Probably in response to Evan saying "There's nothing in here."

- The chains on those doors don't look like they'd stop Sparky, let alone the Rake.

Oh, one other thing- I'd like to point out that, despite not being very smart about this whole thing in other ways, Alex at least has the brains to own a super-bright LED flashlight. (I own one like it; the packaging says not to look directly into the beam, and it's for GOOD REASON.) Don't face eldritch horrors with inferior incandescent flashlights!
