That's not impossible. I mean someone had to have heard all the noise and shit it was making. Jeff's room is close by. If he did know, there's a few options I can think of
- He thought avoiding the problem would solve it (we know how well that works)
- He didn't want to face the facts
- He (or someone controlling him maybe) wanted Alex hurt
- He didn't know what it was doing, just that it was there
- He was too out of it to care

But, that makes Jeff's motives pretty much evil. Unless he's being controlled, I don't think he knew. Or he was too out of it to really process what that meant.


Or he was the one that brought/invited the Rake in.

That kinda goes with my "He wants Alex hurt for some reason" theory. At least, that's what it makes me think of.
Or he brought it/it followed him home from Lambertville and that's why it's there?

 		I think if any of them are collaborating with SM, it's on an unconscious/controlled level. I think Jeff's bipolar behavior is only a symptom, as is Evan's attitude and Vince's studied ambivalence and/or lethargy. I do think we're lured into believing that Jeff and Evan are prime movers of the story while in fact they are as much pawns as anyone else.

 		I'm a little unsure about the layout of their house, but is the room that Evan is holding his ear to the door the crawlspace and the other door Alex's room, or are Alex's and Jeff's rooms adjacent to each other.

Either way, it seems kind of suspicious, and very creepy that Jeff's bed is right up against that wall...

i dunno about you guys but "they're going to like to be here" with the Very Happy at the end makes that whole part feel creepy >.>

as for the box cutter, yea i noticed that too. he also seemed to be "dozing off" fully dressed. that seemed a bit suspicious to me as well.

as for what he says, something "it's in the wall though"

All just a ruse to get Alex into his room (now they can Rake-worship together)

Jeff's room and Alex's room are right next to each other I think. I dunno about the other door the chain is attached to.

Kinda wouldn't suprise me if that was the case with the usb.

And now all I can think of is Jeff sacrificing Alex to the Rake to appease the SlendyGod. Thanks.

 		well, a lot of people seemed to think that evan would gom completely off the deep end before; he was showing all the signs. so maybe, jeff is not as bad off as we think.
or on the other hand, maybe even worse.
i still feel suspicious of vinnie.
but as always i give all of them the benefit of the doubt.

as for the dozing off dressed thing, well, one of the signs of depression is sleeping a LOT. so it really wouldn't be surprising to me.

and yeah, the dozing-off-whilst-fully-dressed thing happens a lot when you're in a bad depression. you come home from work/school/whatever and just fall into bed and stop thinking for awhile. so it's not that unusual for jeff to do so, given how he had been acting.

Indeed. On bad weeks, I wouldn't leave my room at all, just stay curled up in bed. So it's entirely reasonable he just hasn't changed
