Email from Spock Vulture

I sent Spock Vulture an online card, and I'm guessing loyal_fury also contacted him. He sent this email to both of us:

From: "Spock Vulture" <mu_nin@hotmail.com> To: nihilisiaSPLATyahoo.com, loyal_furySPLAThotmail.com
Subject: By your actions you have revealed yourselves.
Date: Wed, 23 Apr 2003 10:06:04 +0000

There is only one way in which you could possibly have gotten this
address.
His password was easy for one as versed in signs and portents as I.
Imagine
my shock to discover that I am not alone in reading his email
surreptitiously! I will have to choose my words more carefully from
now on,
and trust that those faculties now forgotten in "hugh_inn" (the irony
in our
chosen names is delicious -- he cannot help himself!) will lend
themselves
subconsciously to an understanding of my meaning. What is that phrase
you
people use? "Security through obscurity", I believe it is called.

persistence is key...

Alright, I'm sure you're sick of hearing from me, but I've found something new. At 9:09 this morning, what I think is an in-game post appeared on Ewan's 'friends' page. Here it is.

He speaks in your voice, American, and there's a shine in his eye that's halfway hopeful.
1t's a sch00l day, sure, but he's n0where near the classr00m. Growing up near Detroit I have seen more than my fair share of building rot. A person's soul, on the other hand, scars from the inside out.

It's an excerpt from Don Delillo's 'Underworld', which is reviewed here.

The binary adds up to 100000011100100101100100000100000110, but I haven't had time to decode anything.

Curious, too, that Noah sent out a raven but got a dove in return. A little bait-and-switch going on there?

Well, that's from ozy_y2k's live journal -
http://www.livejournal.com/users/ozy_y2k/ -

it's odd, all right, but I don't think Ozy is in-game.

Interesting... Why might "hugh_inn" be an appropriate or ironic name?

for some reason, I thought ozy was one of us. If he's not, that's something to look at.

oops

Confused Hey, what can I say - I'm new around here...

I can't find "trout" or "shill" anywhere in your glossary. I'm worried I might be one (or both).

I am not in-game, assuming this is a game.

My journal entry was intended as a message, not a clue.
