 		The thing with Jessie commenting on Evan's "beautiful hands" is a bit problematic, though, if it was all intended to be IC. Because that means that they IC view this forum.

Well, not really. Jessie could just think he had beautiful hands IG. OOG, of course, it's a reference to this forum, but that doesn't make this forum IG. Call it a shout out if you will.

It was a bit more than a random get-together, they sort of had this a "half-time show" type of deal; they mentioned wanting to thank everyone for helping them in their current situation. But yeah it was a blast.

not a problem. they interact with the fans a ton already, so finding that their fans have a thread or two on an ARG site about their adventures wouldn't be too strange. even the comment that it's "not a game" could be applied to their views on our treating it as one here.

edit: alternately, breaking the fourth wall isn't really a big deal anymore in fiction. especially with something that breaks the fourth wall so heavily as EMH.

Actually, they do check the forums IG. Atleast Jeff does, anyway; Evan and Vince mentioned their disgruntled feelings towards the various forums (which he had mentioned as Unfiction and Slender Nation, specifically) treating this as a "game". Vince mentioned Jeff keeping the group posted on the latest HYBRID news. They knew about the Unfiction Teams when I brought it up, which was pretty funny.

 		Agreed on the hands thing.
About the slasher comment, I'm obviously not Feathers so it would be nice if you clarify, but I'm thinking that was a reference to the "this is not a game" aspect? Saying the Slender Man appearances were all fun until they started really getting visits.

Evan was asking me why the forums treat the situation like it's a game; I didn't have much to say, so I played along IG and mentioned MarbleHornets. This comment really confuses me though. Do they mean they don't like us thinking of it as a game because they wouldn't classify it as a game but more like a story? Or because they were "in character" and they don't want it called a game because it's "real"?

They were in character and treated it as a real, dangerous situation. I honestly went home confused as to whether it is or not, they had me convinced. You know an ARG is good when you begin questioning your sanity.

I actually think it's great that they referenced the forums like that. It... I dunno exactly, but I like it.
But then that means that they kinda think we're dicks IG? Sad
