First thought I had was typical car crash noises, since that was Vinnie's first assumption. Like, tires squealing, metal crunching, that kind of thing? But then again, why would Ryan call right before getting in an accident? So then, maybe the noises would be the Rake noises. If he knew about the guys' run-in with the Rake, it'd make sense for him to call them and tell them what he'd seen. Maybe he saw it in the road & crashed while swerving to miss it? Sad

The Rake seems like he only wants Alex for now.

If the siren was a more established part of the series, I'd be more inclined to go along with that, but since it only happened one time out of the many SM appearances, I'm not so sure.

Well, it could have been standard slender distortion over the phone. The guys might be able to recognize that...
