The Rake seems like he only wants Alex for now.

If the siren was a more established part of the series, I'd be more inclined to go along with that, but since it only happened one time out of the many SM appearances, I'm not so sure.

I was just about to ask about this. What was the general consensus on the siren as far as what it signifies and why it's only ever been used one time? Because honestly I find that scene to be one of the most chilling of the whole series and I'm wondering why it never really became "a thing".

Well, it could have been standard slender distortion over the phone. The guys might be able to recognize that...

That's a definite possibility. And Slender Distortion would make more sense than Rake noises, since presumably the Rake would be outside the car, and thus incapable of getting up in the phone to be a creep.

It hasn't really been addressed, to my knowledge. I've just been under the assumption that it was a nod to Silent Hill, possibly foreshadowing the boys' trip to Centralia.

Maybe Slendy was hitching a ride to the park with Ryan? We know how he likes the backseat...

Cool

On another note, does this mean our ears weren't deceiving us on the previous video and the Rake was saying "Ryan"?

We saw him in A day In the LIfe. and then never saw him again.

I assumed he was slendered, and slendered hard during that hike. I guess i've been proven wrong.

So I go to sleep. I wake up, and holy crap, EMH has uploaded their video and I'm only mildly jealous of Jessie I wonder who Ryan is? Was he around/mentioned before? I can't remember it now and I don't have time ti look through videos and stuff since I go to school innn...40 or so minutes.

I should totally be working on my part of the student writing anthology lmfao .

I think it would be pretty obnoxious and dumb if Slendy had a siren every time he appeared. It's the kind of thing that would fit in a cinematic Hollywood movie with a soundtrack and special effects, but just makes no sense in a "real life" story.

"Oh, my GOD, Slendy! Enough with the frickin' sirens! I'm trying to sleep, you asshole!"

@old_familiar_way - I edited my last post with my thoughts on it...

I think it was standard slender distortion. Like someone said, it'd be hard to hear the rake while he was in the car (unless the rake borrowed from slendy and was in the back seat... okay, i'm not sleeping tonight.).

But we've had a week or so of Rake. Slenders been quite for some time. I think he's picking off a car to make a point- the rake can't even off Alex due to a small dog. He's got no game.
