Hey Weephun,
I know many of us are mad at you for getting the SP caught but now we need to concetrate on the Pious flea and have Melissa resolve his influence. also remember that SP may have information about the accident that Melissa may need to complete her recovery. so once the PF thing is taken care of perhaps you should try to get Melissa to understand and work with SP again.

Yeah...I was about to say 'well, I guess I can hit CANCEL now'. I wanted to see what the Princess would do. :/

Embarrassing, embarrassing.

My jokes suck!

Well, I can disclose now too. weephun's account is completely correct. I should simply have been more decisive about it. :)

Now, the question is: Who is in control of the contact email? Princess? Melissa?

The SP is only locked up, and a lot of her pages are still around. She aten't dead yet.

Good double-crossing thinking, weephun. I think you just broke my brain. And in a good way.

First of all, good work weephun!
Especially keeping the whole thing quiet in the face of external pressure.
[Meta] It works much better as a surprise, than if we knew beforehand.

Just a small item that may be important:
Does Melissa actually know what "Pious Flea" signifies?
SP is the only one to call it that.
Would it not be better known to Melissa as "Seeker" or Extern Proc 0?

Sigh, now I have no hope of interaction... I mean not like SP was replying to my e-mails before... but now it's guaranteed she won't... maybe because it's a yahoo address... Now no more puzzles and axons continue to not come within 100 miles of me. Oh sad is the world, but I have kevorkian scarf.......

Awww, don't go into hiding. The fact is you're playing the game the way you want to play it. Just cuz some of us (myself included) are a little more in the Princess' camp doesn't mean that you shouldn't follow the leads you're given. Part of the reason I think I was mentioned in the last SP 404 message is that, while I did email her to tell her when I was going to be at certain axons, I also wrote her to tell her that I thought it was possible that some people would write to her and set her up to get caught by the Queen. I told her to be careful and, if at all possible, not to approach the Queen unless she was sure the Queen was talking to someone.

The fact of the matter is, Melissa's discovery of the 404 page could have been destined from the beginning and if weephun hadn't coughed up the info, someone surely would have. That SP said "But I really truly don't want to get caught, so if you tell me a time to go, please make sure you have her attention then!" shows just how likely Melissa's discovery of her would be. All it would take is one email from somebody (either truly playing the game or just wanting to cause trouble) for SP to get caught. It's actually quite surprising she was able to stay free this long. But it doesn't mean that those of us who like SP should sit back and do nothing - in-game that is. SP's veriest-friend-Rowan might not like weephun now and is trying to think of ways to free her, but this Rowan thinks that weephun did what he had to do to make the game fun for him, and I salute him for it Smile

Well, since everyone knows all about Lt. Weephun's "loyalties" now, I'll try to explain some and share what I haven't before. I was afraid of doing this before out of fear of backlash like this: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=76055#76055

I was being sarcastic... I'm cool with what you did. It's going to make the story that much more fun to tell later. And that much more interesting now as well.

I didn't mean anything by it, and I hope you didn't take it like I did,

As one of the SP's loyal knights, I rejoice in that we now have something to do. The past two days we've been trying to come up with a goal, weephun has given us one, and an opportunity to help advance the storyline.

And that was a really good job at keeping a really big secret.

Way to go Lt. Weephun! I think this is a great development, and I'd like to publicly thank Weephun for moving the game forward. Emails to the SP to draw her out and cluing Melissa in show real initiative and creativity. Worshippy

For what it's worth, weephun, I admire your commitment to what was certainly going to be (and indeed seems to have turned out to be) a largely unpopular endeavor. I believe you did what you needed to do and took all necessary precautions given the circumstances. Although I do feel a little upset that you didn't come clean to us and trust us as a community to come to a decision regarding whether you should do as Melissa asked or not, I feel that even this was necessary considering the lack of information you have on us (how do you know one of us wouldn't take your info and go squeal it to the SP?).

All that being said, I think we now find ourselves in a precarioius predicament. Without the SP, we have only one source of information (Melissa) which makes it all the harder to figure out the big picture.

I also fear that there are those whose loyalties lie more with the SP than with the ARGn community and that they may take the alleged capture of the SP to heart... and in the process, withhold useful information or services from the ARGn community, harming us all in the long run.

In the end, I guess all I'm saying is that what's done is done, and we need to look forward (just like you said, weephun). But, we need to work together. So I guess this is a call out to all of the SP-loyalists to NOT take this capture personally but instead band together and help find a way to make Melissa realize the influence the Flea has on her and (hopefully) get rid of him. I believe this should be our primary concern.

Thanks for listening to my rant. ^_^

This is the email that I sent to the rest of the crew this morning. It explains what I remember from the call (which wasn't completely 100% acurate I can see now), my actions (above and beyond giving away the dungeon/404 information), and my goals in doing all of this. I apologize to all who feel the loss of the Sleeping Princess (and especially her puzzles which I personally also loved) Once we remove the Pious Flea though, I'm fairly confident we'll be able to get her back from being "lock[ed] up". At least I hope so.

Keep in mind that this email was written THIS MORNING BEFORE THE UPDATE and has had no modifications made to it whatsoever. (I'm a pretty good predictor then wouldn't you say?).

Hey weephun. With all due respect. I think I anticipated you. I wrote this email to the SP this wednesday (I kid you not) I hope it helped the princess somehow.

email from Zemat to SP wrote:
Maybe you don't have idea but many people have suspicions about you.
Voices in the air tell me you are up to no good, but I don't listen to
them. The queen is already trying to set you up a trap, she is
probably using her new "recruits" to do so. Be warned. Watch your back
because just like you used the queen conversations to sneak up behind
her she can do the same to you while talking to us.

Anyway, If you are preparing something for us next friday, maybe more
voices we aren't supposed to hear. How about you showing us your
voice? Maybe it would be to risky but I know more people would trust
you if you had a little chit-chat with them.

A little tip: Help us find out what we need to do with the queen now
that we have gained some of her trust. She wants to prevent Durga from
doing... changing something. But Durga has good intentions, and the
queen doesn't know what she's doing with that pesky flea messing with
her brain. I know you are smart and wise enough to avoid being messed
by the flea. Maybe you should try to mess up with that dumb critter
now that you have gain some of its trust.

And don't be afraid. You have friends within us. You just have to be
more selective with what you say. Not everybody knows to keep their
mouth shut...

Weephun. I'm honest when I say I wasn't expecting this to become true or that you would be involved. Like I said, I hope my warning helped SP.
