I said "about a half an inch deep, or so." He had a mysterious look on his face and looked at Vince, I didn't know what to say so I just said "Maybe I should've brought it along". They both thanked me in unison for not bringing it, as it was the last thing they wanted to be thinking about.

Also, when we passed the spot for a second time, Evan asked me what was around the area when I had found the box. I mentioned the purple tape and he had the same blank stare on his face again, turned around and glared out the back window for 30 seconds or so. He wanted me to notice his nervousness about the topic- atleast, that's what I've inferred.

Well that's certainly interesting. And it definitely sounds like they wanted you to be well aware.
I just wanna know what it means. It almost sounds like they may have encountered something similar.
You know, besides their fancy little shrine/creepy pictures.

but yeah, that is rather intriguing. so we know they know the boxes are out there, and we know it makes them nervous. as of yet, we can't really pinpoint just why it makes them nervous, but it's something i think we should keep in mind for when other crazy shit starts happening.

I'm almost certain that multiple dimensions are involved. Assuming WttA is canon, of course. Which I am, so I could end up being really wrong and all my glorious theories will crumble into dust. But that will mean that some other very interesting things are going on, so we all win either way.

I like the time theory. that could also be why he called vince (rather than 911). he saw vince in the car in the passenger seat, and had his phone.

I would bet good money that neither Slenderman nor WttA will ever be canon. Parts of them will be used later on, or at least their themes. But it was obvious (TO ME) that they were filmed and uploaded for some OOG purpose and we weren't really meant to see them.
