I think that Slendy is going to start cleaning house (or has started if Ryan is a Slendy victim).
And the whole Ryan being tormented by Slendy by himself thing has crossed my mind. Along with the possibility the other random characters have been as well.

We should warn Green Feathers.

I think either Jessie(She did wear a hamsa necklace, Damsel and Jessa are both gone),Alex,or Daniel.

I just noticed something guys.

Everyone who was in the video- A Day in the Life had been attacked by either Slendy or The Rake.

Except for Ryan.

I guess it was his turn.

Three instances of The Rake noises

YouTube: Link

Vinnie had heard it.

Sorry G.I.R, I don't hear any noise apart from background noise in the first sighting of ol'Rakey. At least, not a noise that would be distinguishable over the phone.

It's the EXACT same noise you hear in the following clip with Sparky. You have to hear past Vinnie and Jeff. Try turning up the volume.

Aww shit. I never heard the Rake noises in Cops Checked until now when I turned up the volume.

But wouldn't that mean the Rake went after Jessa then?

Right in the begginging at around :02 you can hear heavy breathing. That's the Rake.

Then hear the end of that clip, around where Vinnie says "What was that" you can hear it.

Do what Didz said.

Forgive me if I'm trouting. But I've just been going through the Wiki page on Fairmount Children's Home (Where Dr Courenthal worked), and on a page linked from there I came across this passage:

Quote:

In the twentieth century, Fairmount garnered a reputation as a truly miserable place for unfortunate Ohio children to be sent, and this was mainly due to the ministrations of a particularly cruel headmaster. The headmaster beat the orphans mecilessly, even to the point of torture, and may have been responsible for the deaths of one or more. This was the story told in the orphanage's later years, at least; and they told about the night in 1944 when the children rose up in revolt against the sadistic headmaster and lynched him from a thick pipe in the basement.

After that, the dead headmaster would be seen standing over children's beds at night, or following them down the dim halls. Class photos taken of the orphans sometimes developed with his shadowy figure standing behind one child or another, seeming to menace him.

Sounds pretty Slendy to me. Kinda reminds me of this picture:

Perhaps Slendy is actually this headmaster, and after the school has burnt down - he is now going after some of the former "residents" aka Evan and Damsel. This is of course assuming that the Evan/HABIT is the Evan/EMH, and a similar assumption for Damsel.
What wiki page? Also, you couldn't even manage to put the url of the page you found?

I'm inclined to think you're making stuff up.

Ok, I hear the heavy breathing, and I guess it could be The Rake.

However, I'm not 100% that it is as he'd have to be pretty close to Vince and Jeff to hear the breathing on camera. But I definitely hear what you hear now.

Nice find, I completely missed the part about the hauntings lol. Read everything else though when the Corenthal wiki page was first found.

Interesting note, check the edit history for the Corenthal page - probably just a coincidence:

I was revisiting that article a while ago (a very long while ago) and I think the hauntings are probably a really relevant part of the backstory. The bit about the apparition standing over peoples' beds makes me think that there is room to interpret it as being the Rake, also.

Hopper, I am really sorry for contributing to your frustration. I don't like visiting the off-topic thread personally, but I am going to make a better effort to tow the line from now on! And I know a lot of people probably feel similarly to you, and I guess the only excuse I can make for myself is that just hanging out and joking around with you guys has personally become one of my favorite parts of this whole experience.

Even though I was one of the ones who suggested it, I'd kind of discounted the Rake being the noises Vinnie was referring to... until the compilation video. Now I'm just leaning more and more to that side.

Though, it's still possible it was slender distortion, if the way he messes with electronics is a ridiculously high EM field. But, since it doesn't happen all the time, it'd have to mean he has the capability of turning it on and off...

I hate not knowing. The boys better let us know for sure what's going on soon.

I'm kind of two minds about this. The videos suggest that we're supposed to associate the Rake with a particular sort of heavy-breathing noise. I can buy that, and it's awesome. That just seems too subtle to be the sort of thing you'd notice over the phone, though. I wouldn't have any trouble handwaving that away if it turns out to be the case, but I'm not sure the Rake noises are obvious enough for the boys to use as a clue to the carjacker's identity.

Also, maybe it's just me, but I have a hard time imagining the Rake lurking in the back seat of Ryan's car and then springing up mid-drive. He also just looks to delicate to survive a collision that would wreck Ryan's car, but, then, so does Slendy.

My money's still on the "noises" being Slendistortion, but I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if it turns out to be the Rake.

The theory that Slender Man = the ghost of the cruel headmaster has been discussed a bit.

Not to say that you're trouting or anything. Nothing's decided.

Personally, I think the idea seems a little too... easy. Like, not only would that be obvious, but simply using that legend/rumor as an explanation would take little to no originality on their part.

It makes a little sense, what with the Slender Man considering Vince as "his" as in "his orphan" but still. They probably have something crazier up their sleeve.
