Gah, I wish I could do the same. *sighs*

Maybe I can get one of you guys to impersonate me, and give her my cell phone # Wink

(Actually, I'm gonna try and make an axon still... hopefully I can get one.)

Unfortunately we are nearing the limit of my contributions - next week is bad and the rest of October may be worse. I'll do what I can outside work hours, this will be difficult. Conn & K in daylight I can probably sneak in; Georgetown Cinema possible depending on times. Be forewarned. Esp. as we seem to be getting MORE axons now.

11 at Union Station; 5 at Georgetown Cinema

Here's my pull from DarkForge's list.

If these are normal and are being released tuesday, I got all 5 of the Georgetown Cinema ones covered. I can't get the Washington Harbour one though since that's right in the middle of my school day. So don't worry about those five, unless I say otherwise come later this week.

Thanks for the input! I've enlarged the bee/globe slightly and changed it to "Axon Hunter", which makes more sense. Given that it's styled after the marine corps logo, I didn't want to move or rearange the phone. Below are both the 100 pixel and 150 pixel versions. If anyone wants the image, you're welcome to it. Send me a PM if you want a larger copy or an additional modification, I did it in Illustrator, so it's resolution-independant.

Aliendial, don't worry too much, it sounds like we'll do very well with Cortana, Kakashi117, Mike_Was and myself. Get the ones you can, and we'll see where we stand Tuesday night.

I've updated the DC reference page for this tuesday.

I will be able to cover these calls on Tuesday:
08:33 (11:33am EST) "Building Museum"
12:24 (3:24pm EST) "Chappy"
13:35 (4:35pm EST) "National Gallery"
14:19 (5:19pm EST) "Federal Center"
15:11 (6:11pm EST) "Ballston"

Because of the timing of the National Gallery call, I will NOT be able to make the Union Station bank Tuesday. Sad Sounds like Cortana and Mike_Was will have it covered, but they could probably use another hand; there are 16 phones there to cover. If necessary, I can pick up any stragglers there on Wednesday.

Tuesday Enhottenation

Cortana and I have planned to get many of the morning axons, and of course the Union Station group (help is ALWAYS welcome!), also planning that Chappy would cover axons he's been able to get before.

So look for good results on Tuesday, hopefully similar to last Tuesday. And with any luck, you'll see Cortana and maybe others added to the crew roster.

It's looking like I may have to do a freelance gig somewhere tomorrow, fixing a server that's having a thoroughly awful day today. My friend Lisa called in a favor, and it's a decent wage, so I may not be axon hunting tomorrow.

My apologies to the team, but paying down my debt beats becoming a crew member, I'm afraid.

Give Melissa my love...

Not at all, Cortana. Work and responsibilites first, games second. I can do the Union Station calls Wendesday if you and Mike want to put those off a day (otherwise it looks like they're all up to Mike_Was).
PS: Was there any public posting regarding the "Spartan Power" message we found at Union Station?

Chappy, feel free to fill in any more details. Can you remember the brand of the machine?

Hah, so the client has decided that because they are fscked, they wish to think about being fscked for at least a few days, and as such, I am free to axonhunt tomorrow, so long as I take my cellphone along.

See you out at the axons.

Do we know ANYTHING about the axon at

15:15 PDT 18:15 38.900042 -77.050196 map rand acme Washington D.C. GW - 23rd bet. H&I - new, not found - metro?

I'm gonna be in that area for class tomorrow, and would LOVE to get that axon. Obviously we haven't found it, but any chance I can get info on where we've looked, to try and narrow down the possibilities if I want to check?

Would be much appriciated, since it's about my only chance at an axon.

One more question...

What can someone (aliendial?) tell me about the "wendy's" axon, on duke street? I think that's probably my best bet for an axon today (18:35 EDT), and since we already have it, it shouldn't be hard to get.

But... I don't want to screw it up, or get to the wrong phone. So can someone give me specifics on it?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I don't believe we've done any searching on the new GW axon yet, so you get to be the first explorer. Good luck! With regards to the Wendy's axon, the DC reference page says "On corner of Duke and S. Quaker Lane. Payphone outside Wendy's." (check out the phone icon on the map indicating the confirmed location).
