On another note, I had a thought today. What if our Tall and Slender Friend took Jessa as some sort of insurance policy?

Think of it this way. Damsel suggested that not thinking about Him is the best way to stop him from coming after you, right? Well, what's one thing in the world you would never ever forget?

The loss of a loved one.

Maybe Slenders took Jessa as a way of making sure Jeff would continue to think about the situation. As long as he's searching for her, he will keep thinking about the whole Slender situation and that way Slendy can keep interfering with the guys? Damsel could never forget either, probably because of what happened to her family. No matter how much she tried, she still put him in her paintings. She wouldn't admit to his existence or openly talk about him, which seems to have kept him at bay.

Ooooh, I like that idea. Makes sense, especially if they're going with the 'only exists if you think about him' idea of Slendy (which I've always found deliciously creepy).

I just realized that Jessa's been missing a little over three months at this point. I don't think the odds of seeing her alive again are high, which... sucks. She was fun and smiley and made both Jeff and Damsel happy.

slendy and the rake teaming up would be so incomprehensibly frightening...i love it.

also, that makes me sad as well. i'd rather think that jessa is on a top-secret mission to destroy slendy and that she got sidetracked and lost contact with the group. ;__; please, EMH crew? i want her to be a smiley badass...

Thank you! That's exactly the word I was looking for. It must have fallen out of my head at some point.

Interesting note, check the edit history for the Corenthal page - probably just a coincidence:

That is not a coincidence. Given the date the page was created and the fact that no earlier OOG sources to show Corenthal's existence exist it's pretty clear that the wikipedia page is a fake invented for the purpose of the game.

Any person significant enough to have their own wikipedia article should have thousands of pages, not 149 (of which all are either Wikipedia/wikipedia clones and EMH related pages).

James Corenthal simply never existed.

I think this new blog is related to the EMH universe. Or it could be coincidence. http://nefr.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2010-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-08%3A00&updated-max=2011-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-08%3A00&max-results=4 The connection isn't esstablished until the 4th entry.

Doubtful. Everything about that blog is just 'off', you know?

You can't really just make a Wikipedia for something that doesn't exists, though. Unless this seemed legit enough so they let it slide but seriously they're really nitpicky about what can be on Wikipedia.

Ya but only for popular pages. I mean how many views do you think Corenthal would get? He doesn't link to or from much and unless your actively searching for him (which I can only see happening if you're in on EMH) hes probably not going to come up. Plus it is cited. I feel like as long as there are some semblance of citations and no one makes a thing out of it you're fine.

That's the thing though, if you didn't follow EMH there'd be no reason to suspect that page on the face of it. If you pointed it out to the hardcore wikipedia editors they'd probably nuke it due to having no supporting citations (it does cite stuff, but none of the pages it cites even mention Corenthal). Just try and dig up one reference to Corenthal which isn't connected to EMH or that wikipedia article - there ain't any.

Well... in a hope to not ruin their happiness, try to find a parent, for example, who wasn't a part of the technology age. You probably couldn't find them online.

From the blog:

Okay, come on, stuff like this goes in the off-topic thread, really.

Anyway, symbiotic relationship? The Rake and Slender Man teaming up? To what end, really? How would this benefit them both?

Well, if we go on the theory Slendy feeds on their fear and the Rake on their bodies, then Slendy gets paraniod victims because the victims are harrassed on two fronts and when he's finished with them the Rake gets an easy meal.
